I understand what your say regarding players available but I still feel certain things could have helped. For example, we know our CMs can’t cope with Chelsea so bring Gio more central as a third CM or an AM who drops deep. He’s too far out right. Not that he would make a difference but just having three in centre would help. Tbh I don’t see why we don’t go 4231, Doherty is dreadful on the left and I honestly wonder if it wouldn’t be better ether playing Rondon or Gil there.

Aside from that, why play Giolini, I don’t get it, the defence need confidence and commanding. We won’t get that from him.

Apart from Rodon LWB that obvs wouldn’t work at all although could’ve played Davies there over Doherty.

But completely agree on Lo Celso looking lost at RW and Winks and PEH being dominated by kov & jorgihino.
