Honestly you would have thought they were 3-0 up with chance after chance the way that game was commentated...need to mute the bastards in the second half. Abysmal

For those going on about Lucas, he is not our least effective player in this match. He is not a middle of the park player. Eriksen is and he is just strolling around, leaving Winks and Sissoko to be starting the attacks, something he should be doing

Meh to this formation, I've rarely seen it work for us.

Drop in Lamela for one of the CB, and push lucas over to the left would be my amateur armchair play, better yet bring on Danny Rose.

The left hand side today is as exposed as the right hand side was on Sunday

Living dangerously.

Again, 3412 isn't working for us, especially with the wingbacks we have. I hope we switch to 343 with Lucas or Son on the left and Eriksen on the right and we start making runs between their full back and centre back.

Son needs to stay in the center up top with Lucas running off him, son holds the ball up better than Lucas.

Think the game needs Lamella though, might make a difference in balls in behind and running into spaces also.

Indeed.

I think with the crowd behind us and with the wide players in the A3 of a 4231 willing to track back and muck in, we would beat them in an open back and forth game tonight with the fans behind us.

Poch not feeling adventurous, though.

Absolutely. Would much prefer a disciplined 4-2-3-1 where there would be a better balance in terms of attack and defence over an overly-safe approach that creates very little.

Regardless of how much the commentators are purring over Dortmund, they actually look there for the taking to me. It just depends if Poch will go for it. I'm a bit worried that his positive change will be Lamela for Lucas, when I think we need to go to 4 at the back and have a bit more in midfield to try and work through them.

We need to just show a little more composure in the middle of the park. For all of Winks positives he does play the game 100 miles and hour and would benefit from a little less haste at times.
