Have we decided what Bryan's best position is yet? Is it overly optimistic to think he might be deployed as an AM as opposed to a direct replacement for Deki?

Problem is he'll get knocked over every time a Villa player farts if he's in the middle.

I'd have preferred 3 in CM to start if Deki's out. At least we'd have an attacker on the bench and a chance of not being overrun by their 3 in midfield. If they've got any sense they'll have worked all week on us having a pivot midfield and how to cut through it.

Have we ever have a fully fit starting XI we can play consistently for a few run of games?

Probably on the left or centre.
He will be on the right today, otherwise I think we will be too narrow.

Don't care about the bench, is not like Conte will make a sub until the 75 min anyway.

Dier dropped for Lenglet, big call that.

If nothing else I'm sure Dier organises well.

Our medical team consistently cannot keep players fit or get them fit within a reasonable amount of time. Just symptomatic of the club continuing to accept mediocrity. Anyone serious would’ve replaced them ages ago.
It should be pointed out though that - especially under Conte - we have a small army of fitness/recovery/exercise coaches and wider specialised staff such as kinesiologists, nutritionists, etc who are the ones tasked with making sure these athletes are in top condition but also at the appropriate workload.

The physios and medical staff see the player when he is broken, they didn't break him. Maybe they could do a better job in some circumstances with how players recover, but if he's been broken sometimes they can't work miracles. Seems a lot of the time now though, especially with Jose and now with Conte I have to say, that the managers do expect these miracles and for players to be pushed harder and harder, patched up at the click of his fingers ready again for duty, and that a player going down with an injury means the medical team faces the wrath - fairly or not.

Such a shit squad. Shows that we need a massive overhaul. Literally we have no options off the bench. I am expecting a loss today which is really negative but we have no plan b options.
