PM Nedley, and ask him to show you his.

He has 'Audere est Facere' on his back - looks good.

For me, tattoos are never "classy" but I do much prefer writing in black over any other type. As tattoos fade, ones with pictures tend to look rank after a few years.

Agree totally.

One of my 3 brothers is an Ipswich fan (long story) and he was gonna get a tattoo of their badge on his arm years ago. When he went to get it, the tatooist offered to replace the ball which the horse stands on in Ipswich's badge with a canary to symbolise Norwich. My brother thought this was a great idea and he got it done.

3 things: First, my brother isn't exactly Hulk Hogan - his arms are like spaghetti so the bigger the tattoo, the dumber it was gonna look.

Second, the 'canary' in the tattoo is so big in relation to the horse that it looks like a frickin eagle, which just makes the whole thing look ridiculous.

And third, with red outline, blue and white horse and writing and a yellow eagle/canary. my brother's arm now looks like a paint by numbers.

I don't have any tattoos, incidentally.

Just don't get one. They are shit. Give the money to the club to pay Cole's wages.

I got the old THFC design as a slag tag on my back. Doesn't look classy, but I fucking love it.

i think a picture can be more hard hitting and can say a lot more than writing. depends on the picture tbh. if i were getting a tattoo, i'd save up properly and make sure i go to a skilled artist. none of the looney toons crap.

The only ones that would look good are fancy text. So Audere Est Facere in fancy text across the back or chest maybe.

I have Audere Est Facere down my left inner forearm. Doesn't exactly look awesome, but we haven't been relegated since I got it done a few years ago...

Bonus.

I have the old crest on my upper arm, still looks new 4 years on, and my 3 year old little boy points at it and starts singing when the spurs go marching in!!!

I took the lid off one of the Spurs mugs boxes with me to the tattoo parlour and he blew it up, which is why it looks so clean and clear.

I'd say this is about the only 'classy' one you could have for my money, as it suits a tattoo well.

How about a tattoo of Vinny Samways dressed as Chirpy, lifting the world cup, whilst Ossie Ardiles pelts him with lemons?

Only problem is it's a bit common.
