I think the issue is, and we’re seeing it with all the other top 6-8 teams dropping point regularly in Dec is the lack of preseason - we looked good in nov because we started earlier in the season so had a pre season of sorts - so we’re fitter than them in Nov - now they have caught us in the fitness and now all teams are struggling due to lack of break over the summer / fatigue - he se league much tighter. I think 5 subs is the answer then Jose will really have to earn his corn and have a plan B - coz at the mo plan A ain’t working

Who’s our next manager?

Players Not ambitious enough.....a man who played two centreback, three fullbacks ,two defensive midfielders in the team on a Sunday. Also a bench dominated by defenders but no second striker.

We play Fulham next. I hope the whole team make it a matter of honor to prove him wrong.

I think you must have forgotten just how poor we were the last year under Poch. I love the Poch, and one day, once he has some experience under his belt I would love him to come back. Coming back now would be disastrous!

No I have not forgotten the last nine months under Poch but DO remember the severalmyears of progress made against the odds. Mourinho is to me amongst the poorest mangers in the league. So many are producing just as good results and better with minuscule resources in comparison. What is more he has duped people into thinking we have to play like Burnley or similar ... actually Burnley do it better ... because we are such a poor little nothing club. Reality is somewhat different. But Jose is not someone in touch with reality. but few multi-millionaires are

I remember we weren't happy with Poch the first year. Jose's more likely to win us a trophy than these other so called 'better managers' throughout the PL. I don't think he's happy the way we're playing right now, and I trust him to turn it around.

I don't think he's happy with the results. I think he's deliriously happy with the way we're playing.

I don't believe that he thinks that it's effective enough as it's not getting results so I wouldn't think that he can be completely happy.

Conceding late goals, the stuff José dreams about. :playful:

Those tactics only work in the long run if you've got a rock solid defense and a mentally strong team.
