Tottenham Hotspur secured the biggest bargain of the transfer window in signing Rodrigo Betancur for an up-front fee of £16M from Juventus, half what he was worth, analysts have calculated.

The intriguing thing about this is that we allegedly bumped Kulusevski's price to keep Bentancur's low to minimise a sell on clause. What happens if we then decide we don't want Kulu at the end of his loan?

We're probably paying for that difference in the 18 month loan fee.

I think we don't really have a choice for Kulu, the threshold for appearances was 15 as a starter, which I'm sure he'll have by the end of next season. Not sure though if it is this AND/OR champions league though.

Levy is paying for articles like these for damage control. our transfer activities have been shite for quite some time now.
