Tottenham are reviving their interest in Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta. Spurs made a move for Iaquinta last year while he was still with Udinese and are set to try again for the World Cup winner in the summer.
Iaquinta has admitted frustration at the lack of first team action he's seen this season and is ready to ask away.

I thought this was going to be about the call I got from DC earlier this week. We are currently in negotiations but the sticking points are really the wage (they are unwilling to match my wage demands of 250 quid a week plus overtime and tips) and also the fact that I am not a 'Ramos-type-player' (fast, skillful, good passer, at least one good foot, willing to train on a number of days each week, creative, team player, able to head the ball without closing eyes, hit the target from some shots, mostly pass to my own team, wear underpants to prevent accidental ball exposure, play for more than 6 minutes without having a sit down).

Regarding interest in Iaquinta, if the Davros (Dave) deal doesn't go through then Eto'o would be a better choice.
