Ok my takes.

Dele laughing and then it sinks in, by episode 2.

Levy is awkward as fuck.

I actually really like mourinho. Although his team talks are a bit shit. yes it's exactly what we've all been saying for years, but while concentrate for the full 90 mins is good advice. They don't.

Whenever levy is in a conversation about football, he comes across as one of those people who knows nothing about it, so just throws in the odd phrase or word he's heard, but otherwise has no idea what's being discussed. Reminded me of an "IT Crowd" episode :)

Can anyone confirm there are Spanish subs available? Thanks

My son currently splits his time between living in Barcelona and Annecy, France. He asked about Spanish & French subtitles as he's looking to improve both languages. I looked at all the features I could see of the documentary and could only see it in English.

To those saying it is staged or a PR piece - I recommend listening to the interview with the producers on The Fighting Cock recently. While the people who make these things obviously use professional discretion and wouldn't include anything that screwed the club over, the final signoff sits with them - not with the club. I worked in advertising and PR (for my sins) for 15 years, and I can guarantee you, if the club had final say, this show would be A LOT more contrived and "safe". I doubt we'd even have seen people swearing (Jose maybe, but not Kane - he's the star boy). The Jose "f off" bit is a bit of acting - but from a logistical point of view, it would be very hard to stage too many moments. Setting up and filming little scenarios like that takes a lot more time (especially with non-actors) than anyone would be able to afford. I mean, can you imagine asking Jose to do multiple takes while he has to prepare for a match?

People keep slagging off Kanes speeches but I dunno what people really expect him to say. I imagine all of these run if the mill pre match speeches are largely just generic stuff regardless of which team or player.

By all accounts from what we've saw the guy does his leading by working hard and setting an example, which is far more effective than swanning in 5mins before kick off and giving a gladiatorial speech IMO

Also don't forget he a tally interrupts Mourinho during one of the team meetings and calls out the rest of the team for the lack of effort not just in the previous game but all season. Stuff like that shows leadership as well IMO.

People love to hate Kane. Literally any excuse to put him down and they are on it in a flash. I personally don't get it but it's just how it is.

Did'nt like winks attitude when mourinho got the job. "do you reckon he will be on us from the get go, all tactical?" .

Of course mate. You're on 1000's of pounds a week. Do you want mollycoddling?

He did seem a bit precious. Mind you all of their faces when they were watching tv in the canteen after he had been announced looked pretty worried. I said at the time he was appointed I don’t think there was another option and I stand by it even more now. The players were too comfortable.

I think he was in awe of Mourinho. Maybe it is different now and he speaks more freely. But there’s little point in him opening his mouth and confirming to Mourinho, if it’s the case, that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about by saying something stupid. He’s been a chaor an for decades though so I can’t believe he wouldn’t know something’s about the game.

Spot on and it's exactly the same with Levy, because there hasn't been scenes of him in the car park laughing while reversing over puppies then the whole thing simply must be staged.
Perish the thought that their opinions of him might actually be misconceptions.

Levy is awkward on camera but at least he eats with the players and is at every match as well, so he certainly cares about the club unlike that shit show down the road who has probably never even met any of the players and doesn’t give a shit. I prefer to have a chairman that genuinely cares about the club even if he is awkward.

Kane's team talks are no different to any Sunday/non-league captain... "Fuckin come on lads, into them early, we can beat them, fuckin let's go!"

What are you expecting? Bloody Tolstoy?

I've come to realize some Spurs fans are like flat earthers. They make their minds up via Twitter ramblings and watching YT clips, and even if the chairman, manager, journo's, pundits and ITK all say opposite, it's all just PR spin from the club.

He eats with the players so he doesn’t have to buy lunch.

Be interesting to see when Lloris comes back, if he does any of the pre match talks.

Don’t get why people are laying into Kane, least he speaks up, think you can see he is a bit nervous but not scared to say what he is feeling.

There are interesting insights into performativity and club management but I really didn't expect it to be such a descriptive text in the form of season review.

Dunno what I expected but I guess more narrative, critical, or analytical angles and less descriptive retelling of one season. It's a bit procedural, really
