I think we're in for both, but we're being clever with how we're handling both transfers...using the Son deal, the way its broke, to exert pressure on West Brom.
Hopefully end up with both on the basis Lamela leaves.
Does Emma Storey really work for Sky Sports? I though she worked for some Tottenham newspaper or am I just thinking of Ben Pearce? He's not saying he has any info though, only that the two papers saying the move is on are well sourced.
BILD reporting he has a release clause.
Some virgin has changed his Wikipedia page
What do you make of him as a player, being a Bundesliga watching regular?
Pretty sure I read somewhere that it was 25 million euros but it's expired. The two words that make me feel much more confident of any transfer!
Still reckon everyone is getting way ahead of themselves here.
If he was having a medical I'm pretty sure there would be mire concrete stories.
If he's got a release clause it may be that we have simply met that, and now we have to convince him to come. I'd be surprised if he made that decision before knowing whether Bayer were going to be in the Champions League this season or not.
Apparently he's in their squad tonight, so clearly not as advanced as has been portrayed.

It's all coming from the German end rather than England. Very much doubt it's anything to do with that. There's clearly something in this story even if the medical reports are off the mark it seems. Very reliable German sources.Yup...as i said earlier in the thread...Twitter storm.
Not saying we're not interested or that we won't get him. But he's clearly not having a medical etc. Could all just be designed to scare West Brom.

Greedy as it sounds for me it would have be both not either orI think this could be the case,or it could be us realising that Berahino price was getting out of hand and moving on to Son at the price of our second bid. However it could also be due to the potential exit of Lamela.
It's clear it's not as advanced as a medical but the interest has been confirmed, and Leverkusen seem open to sell whether there is a release clause or not.
