Well, I was given possibly the two worst bits of ITK about Duff at an airport and Davids being fed up from a guy on the till at Tesco. I posted them in good faith and although I wasn't altogether convinced by my informers, I passed them on. When they proved to be well wide of the mark, I got roundly abused, but that's a risk you take - so long as it doesn't get vicious, but is more along the lines of "you plonker", then it's fine to doubt as far as I'm concerned.

As to the ITK itself, then given the fact of the info coming from the goat, we can't say yogurt to be joking, milk it for all it's worth and deduce that we're signing Nani or someone called Billy.:grin:

I have been talking to Capra Aegagrus Hircus, a distant cousin of the Goats. It seems we will be signing a Nigerian Dwarf, and the famous La Mancha - who wiki describes as an 'all-around sturdy animal'. Capra Aegagrus Hircus also says Sable Saanen from America could be coming to north London.

Just out of interest, if Kaye/Stoof/NTG had mentioned that they'd spoken to a member of staff while visiting the lodge and they said they thought "4 or 5 players were hard to motivate"... would you have still of responded in the same way?

I imagine it'd of been "Cool, you got to speak to someone at Spurs lodge and they said that?! That's pretty interesting!!!!!!!1111one" :shrug:

The compromise we've been thinking about is making the transfer/ITK forum permission based and so anyone who can't help themselves from being rude just won't have permission to read the forum and the "worthless gossip" inside and they won't get banned for it.

I'm not sure if that works but if people don't have the willpower to ignore threads and not comment I'm not sure where that leaves us.

Yes I have some....and even some that are on topic

Previous window/s you had an ITK read only and an ITK / rumour discussion thread.For me this was great, easy to use. If having read the ITK, i had further interest i would then use the discussion thread..... Personnally I think the permission based concept is taking things alittle far, and if it involves alot of work, i wouldn't recommend it.

I do think its alittle sad that regardless of your (Team SC) efforts to explain "the goat" or any other itk IS allways a conctant and seeminlgy an unwinnerable "war" of words.(well that how it feels to me.......

My suggestion is that, well basically "fuck" this 100% freedom of speech....you do it with the "c" and personal attacks etc....Basically have a set of rules, member need to stick to them, or get banned. Its your site, Make it how you want it...

Just to add my 2 baht(thai money) on understanding the goat an itk stuff...

ITK is the "tag" the "handle" "the call sign" given to a person/s who has recieved some information within the club, be it "gossip" "opinion" "Club recruitment Plan" "discussions" or "factual information"

Dont add your defiintion on what ITK means (as in, it must have xyz in, it must come from xyz) and then complain that it doesn't meet your required self defined expectation....it is what it is. information from a source/s from within side the club.....Some may well be the tea lady, some may well be from the note taker from meetings held between Levy and co. From any player with Spurs. Well just about anyone from within the club, 1st or 2nd hand.....

The News may bear fruit, or it may die a speedy or slow death
The News may well make you go "wow" "shit" or "so what"

But what it is is Information that has come from inside the club......nothing less and nothing more....

Cant that simple fact be clear?



Whatever the final result is.........well whatever it is.

tea lady walks in to serve some tea and biscuits and see Eto and in discussion with levy and some other chaps..phones her nephew(a spurs fan) and tells him....He contacts "The goat" Who posts........"eto in boardroom discussion with levy and co.NOW"

Result3.........Eto was in fact seen in America on hols at the time as pictured in the sun newspaper and is still playing ofr barca. (as it turned out the tea lady mistook eto for Mr Another
