Every time I see a Ronnie interview, I come away with the same impression, the man is a snooker genius, but my god, is he a big fat fucking dickhead. He can hide behind whatever he wants, but it is no excuse, especially when you know you are doing it. He makes others around him feel like shit. It's just not a nice trait.

It does take the shine off him, and the lengths people go to make excuses for him are also eye-opening, purely due to how good he is at the game.

Completely agree. He is a massive bellend but unrivalled. There will never be another in my opinion of his talent but he needs to appreciate the game and what it has given him a lot more.
