Dan, who's the best striker at the club?
Clive Allen, still. In fact, i'd be tempted to put money on him still being a top drawer striker of the ball.

I know it's been said before, but of those who remember the Allen families playing days - imagine Clive up front now, how many he'd be tucking away a season.

Not many coaches would go out and say to the press that the players they work with aren't good enough and hopefully we will replace 3/4 of them with better ones.

Spurs coach Ferdinand questions need to sign new striker

Spurs’ striker coach Les Ferdinand denies that Tottenham desperately need a new forward – arguing that the problem has been a lack of continuity, not quality.

Ferdinand scored 39 goals in 149 games for the Lilywhites between 1997 and 2003, and is now a member of Harry Redknapp’s coaching team.

I think it will help players like Danny Rose. At one stage it looked like he wasn’t going to get a game last season. He then came in at the back end of the season and Harry kept him in the side – there’s a lot to be said for that.”

1 goal every 4 games, he`d fit in lovely.
I remember his masterclass v Blackburn at Cardiff.
Why is the fucker called Sir Les? He couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo.
Rant over.

Obviously there's nothing wrong with what he's said here. He hasn't said we shouldn't buy a new striker, just that our current strikers are good enough. He's been coaching them, what good does coming out and saying they're hopeless do? None. Anyone annoyed with this is just being very childish and throwing a strop before considering the motive behind it.

What qualifications does he have? I am far from impressed with our coaching staff, just seems like its all Harry's mates (Sherwood, Ferdinand) and no experienced coaches.

Surely it cant be that Keane, Pav and Defoe are all crap....or they became crap overnight..... IMO you have to point the finger at the coaches, who manages the coaches?

Sir Les coaching our forwards is a joke! Nice bloke but based on the form of the above mentioned 3 he should be sacked!
