It looks likelier each day that passes that we'd be in the CL next season. And if we want to be competitive we'd have to sign Ade permanently and perhaps another star name or two.

So if we're really going into the market, we'd have to pay these players 6 digit wages; and the likes of Modric, VDV and Bale should be paid on par with Ade and the new arrivals.

We simply cannot pay such wages for 5 or 6 players, and don't forget that if we are successful this season, players such as BAE and Kabul; and in fact most of the squad will merit a pay rise.

With our stadium still years away, the only way to increase revenue is to lease Wembley say for 4 or 5 years and see how big a draw we are and plan our new stadium accordingly.

No thanks, that's place is soulless when full and we wouldn't fill it anyway.

Not possible, I'm pretty sure Wembley can only hold a maximum number of events a year to keep the local residents happy. Football every fortnight wouldn't fly.

We didn't sell out White Hart Lane last season, so why would we want to not sell out a bigger venue that in return would see us having to hand over some of our gate receipts

Yes but only for the knockout stages - if we qualify of course...

For CL matches yeah go for it. The scum flopped spectacularly with their attempt but I believe we'd sell out near capacity.

If I remember correctly Wembley can only host a certain number of events per year and our potential CL games would take it over that limit.

Thought new WHL is still on target for 2014 or 2015 opening - i.e. 2-3 years only.

Never, Scum had an awful time there. WHL is intimidating for teams (well sometimes these days)
