Wed have gotten Blackburn at home, absolute wankers the lot of them im so angry.
Yeah I don't usually get angry but I feel really f*cked off - it feels like we've gone back a couple of decades. Everything about Spurs these days feels elite except the bit that really matters.

Couldn't even care less if we get top 4 or not. Not like we'll do anything in the CL anyway.

What an opportunity wasted.

I'm fucking seething with that.

Apparently this club is desperate to win a trophy. Yet squad quality, selection, and effort on the pitch, show none of that desperation.
Front 3 from the off, all playing for themselves. Richy and Sonny body language after just 5 minutes was appalling.

You can't win trophies unless you're at least as committed as the opposition. Let alone have a talented enough squad.

People talk about a few of our first teamers being rested, but ultimately there were international players out there, on big money who just did not show up. That team cost hundreds of millions and we're just poor!

For the record Sheffield weren't great either. They just jumped on a rare chance. We just had Richarlison nearly hitting the corner
The thing is we have been in good form lately playing pretty much the same team. Why have we made 6 changes in an important cup tie.

Make a few changes for Wolves at the weekend but not for a last 16 FA cup tie when we have only won 2 trophies in 25 years.

When it comes to challenging for trophies we really are the definition of an imposter.

The club just isn't serious about winning, it doesn't live and breathe with a burning desire to win, and in a hyper-competitive sport with rivals who are willing to bend rules to win, we're not going to win anything. Yes the players were shocking, yes the coaching is abysmal. But changing things round is just like shuffling the deck chairs. Until an atmosphere, dare I say it a culture, is built that demands certain minimum standards, and there are consequences for not meeting them then well...

We're no longer abject shite as we were throughput the 90s and that is a welcome improvement but that's it. That's the ceiling.

I would have been physically angry in my younger years. Now, it's almost amusing. I just hope the footballing philosophy can be turned around and we at least play some nice football, whilst achieving the square root of FA from now on.

Definite deja vu of the 90s and early 2000s tonight. I really thought that we'd cracked the weak mentality under Poch but since then we've gone back to dreary mediocrity again.
When did we crack the weak mentality?

Getting bored with this pattern and the same old approach, same old shakey players and wooden style of play. I am being very reactionary I must admit straight after the defeat but I give a shit like most about the FA cup, in 1991 we were the then record holders and yet another year goes on. I know the game has changed and they’ll go all in for top 4 or try but no lessons are learnt from these cup games so frustrating. Feel for those fans who’ve travelled up there with all that hope.
mate , think about it
we should have been in that final last week Sunday, but we blew it against Forest

If you don’t play a full strength side then you clearly don’t care about the game. Why are we throwing away our best opportunity of winning something? I’m absolutely raging.
Don't blame this on the personnel. Sheff Utd had plenty of changes (8 was it) but they were fine. The difference is attitude and desire. Our players are arrogant and believe they can win by just turning up. They are wrong and overestimate their ability.

You will never convince me that we shouldn’t have gone full strength. Setting up with a half baked side is asking for trouble. We’ve seen it time and time again.

How easily did Sanchez get wrong footed for their goal. I know he wasn’t the only one at fault but he looked like his feet were in concrete.
Obviously too hard for him. He even managed to wrong foot himself and fall over his own feet.
Shocking commitment from him.
you could easily find ten efforts from him in that game highlighted zero effort.
Clearly doesn’t care.

Not one part of the team functioned tonight.

It's so strange that for a team that plays the same tactics game in, game out as soon as we make a few changes we shit the bed.

Not one player looked up for it or up to it. The effort all round was pathetic, especially PEH and Sanchez for the goal. Sick of the crap mentality at the club and the defensive anti-football coaching. Burn it all down in the summer, release every shit player and move on. We're never winning anything at all with this approach that has dogged us for so long. That said, when we are all here again next year having been knocked out by Wrexham, we'll be saying the same thing. Nothing will ever change.
