Highly unlikely as the issue would of been picked up when he had his medical with Barcelona.I would happily wager City knew there was an issue, which is why they were happy to let him go for free…
Yeah, cant see them identifying a heart problem that may result in his death and then keeping stoom.Highly unlikely as the issue would of been picked up when he had his medical with Barcelona.
Yeah I have wondered this too. I honestly think it’s a combination of both. There seems to be more players (and sportspeople generally) being identified as at risk from heart problems. I wonder whether there is a heightened risk in modern sport from pushing the body ever harder to gain that physical edge compared to 'olden days' sport, or whether it's because of improved medical techniques simply picking more cases up.
If it's the second it does make you consider how many other top level sportspeople went through their whole career at risk without knowing it, and were lucky not to have been affected.
Covid vaccine or Guardiola's special vaccines?I'm calling it now.
Covid vaccine.
Sad to read this.
Was an unbelievable player for City. He tormented us at times.
You could see last season his legs were going but thought he might have done ok at Barca.

Taking a sidestep slightly from aguero but sheffield united player fleck needed urgent medical assistance on the field of play last night.
Its happening far far more frequently now, yet ZERO questions being asked as to why?
Nothing to see here of course.

Good questions. Does doping need to be looked at as a possible contributor? There seems to be more players (and sportspeople generally) being identified as at risk from heart problems. Could be, but personally think it could be to do with how much players are pushed physically these days. Expected to go full pelt in training and games, and playing almost non stop.Good questions. Does doping need to be looked at as a possible contributor?
