What I haven’t worked out yet is why we don’t have a touchline camera whizzing up and down, as you see tracking the 100m.

If that can keep up with the fastest in the world surely someone could joystick that left and right in play. Then they’d always be a camera bang in line. Not of this line drawing none sense from a non conclusive angle.
Yeah thats definitely a possibility, could even be automated to follow the furthest player forward, wouldn't even need a joystick bloke.

This is the image MOTD came up with their jiggery pokery:

Ive paused it to screenshot it, but that was a still image from when the ball was played, the problem with those angled shots BT were showing is people are always looking at their feet, tells a different story when seen across the line, which is obviously what the lineman could see, and why he flagged..

Us being in the semi means our game against Brighton has been postponed.

That’s 2 Friday night fixtures postponed now. *pops over to RAWK to read about a Jewish conspiracy*

Stupid question....

When is the draw? After the last QF match?

Not a stupid question mate, has generally been Monday nights (before the last live game) then they did the 6th round draw on a Saturday night with quite a few ties still to go (including ours)!
Makes sense to do it after Leicester v Chelsea though - no replays so the exact ties will be known

Let's just scrap the offside rule and see how teams play for a year.

Son must consider himself very unlucky to have such a great goal ruled offside. Perhaps he was but it was only a toenail at best. I know I am biased but should such a great goal be ruled offside by such fine margins ?
Its not that fine, look at the image I posted on the last page mate.

Its got nothing to do with Sons foot. It has everything to do with any goal scoring part of the body... In that case its his knee and he's offside.
Shame cos it was a really great finish...

They are different pictures at different times.

Like I said the Ball was already in the air in the first one.

They aren't, unless the Swansea player is just locked in the same position all day. Like one of those plastic toy soldiers, remember them?

The line on the pitch BT Sport showed was half of his foot offside when the ball was played, definitely not by as much as the above screenshot.

Its not just his knee mate, its every part of his entire body!
