danny murphy said it yesterday in post match analysis.. we rely heavily on parker defensively with so much attack on view so tweating it for me against top teams is a must.

we simply have to get sandro in team alongside parker and still accomodate vdv, modric and bale and lennon to give us balance . the only possibly way to do that is to play bale left back area with modric in front and lennon on right with vdv off ade so

walker king kaboul bale
lennon parker sandro modric
vdv adebayor

we have to start trying this in some games for players to get used to it somewhat and its vital against the top teams cos we are too open and somewhat lightweight against more powerful teams

He was brilliant yesterday and the balance of the team looked perfect with him in it and Sandro on the bench instead of trying to fit both in. Sandro will still get plenty of games this year but i think bringing in Parker to show our Brazilian the vocal and organisational side of the game will, over the next couple of years, help to develop Sandro from a great talent to a great player. What i love about Parker is that he just gets after the ball and if he loses it or misses a tackle or gets fouled, he just gets straight back up and runs after the ball again. I also loved yesterday the footage of him and Friedel talking and he was clearly discussing tactics and how to manage the QPR attack. He is just so involved in the whole game not just his part and has a burning desire to win every game he plays. He's gone from being the one responsible for winning games for West Ham to being the one responsible for keeping us in games and allowing our flair players to win them, a transition he has made perfectly.

Roy Keane he may not be but the perfect player for Spurs in 2011/12 he certainly is.

So you didn't think that our attacking brilliance kind of hid our lack of shape and then as soon as an average team put a bit of pressure on us we struggled? We were excellent but we can definitely improve and I don't exactly think it is a stretch to play Sandro and Parker together.

I agree with IOMLS here, Parker has been sensational since he joined but with him on his own in Cm it does look like he is the safety pin holding us together at times, when if you added Sandro alongside him as a ball winning water carrier type, and let Parker continue as he has been then the safety pin becomes an impenetrable wall.

We then have more ball for the likes of Modric/VDV/Bale/Lennon to make hay.

I hope Sandro and Parker both start at Fulham, if they do I'll be very confident.

Alot will depend if Sandro starts out in Russia on Thursday - if that is the case then I can't see him partnering Parker against Fulham which is certainly my preference.

I think Livermore will partner young Carroll again in central midfield, as I expect Gallas and Basssong at the back.

He hasn't even played seven full games. Give him a while............

Ok, let me rephrase. When he adds goals to his game, then we'll compare him to Keane.

He's more than capable, some of the goals he scored for West Ham were screamers.

So you're saying to drop one of the most consistent players we've had for the last few season? We miss benny when he's not playing.
I would not drop Benny for Bale at left back!
