our collapse has been nothing short of shameful.....there is simply NO excuse acceptable fo whats happened since Arsenal away

nobody should give this guy anymore chances because he continues to mess up the best squad weve had since probably the 1960s....if you cant see after years in football let alone a pre-season with spurs that this squad is absolutely made for 433/4231 then you dont deserve to be in the game!!!

people wont like this im sure but its disgraceful the way hes managed us in this run in....so so avoidable as well..

shambolic, get him gone & i tell you what put a legend who has a clue about tactics in charge right now to the end of the season...im serious, bring back Glenn Hoddle....he couldnt do any worse than the fag packet "other people think we are better in a 442" manager we have right now...."luka play off left, luka can you play in a two today, luka play off right for me today fella" etc, etc!......Are u shitting me!!!!!!!!!!!!

luka your centre of a 3 with sandro & parker........ITS THAT SIMPLE

im so angry, this guy has cost us again & again with his stupid (benny right back away at old trafford) bollocks!

adie has a point man. Twitchy has fucked us over. I think if we lose to Chelsea on Sunday he is going to resign.

Really can't do anything about it until the end of the season, and frankly if we finish 4th and get to a cup final then that's a pretty good season all things considered.

Having said that, if we don't finish top 4 this year then I don't want Harry to be our manager next season, whether that be because England take him off our hands or we sack him. Much as he deserves the credit for where we've risen to, he also needs to take the blame if we throw away our league position, particularly when that drop is (and I think most would agree with this) largely down to his tactical errors.

Wait until the end of the season, we could finish 5th or 6th or come third or fourth and win the FA cup.

Harry wont go until the summer, but I think the time will be right regardless of what happens with England. Anybody who is indirectly blaming 'others' for having influence over his team selection has lost my confidence. That's as damming as it comes, to not have confidence in your own judgement in a high pressure situation, that's why these guys are paid fortunes.

Is that our form or Adi's post....?
Both now that I think about it. I was talking about form though. Complete dive bomb the last quarter of the season although this season's collapse looks to be even more spectacular.

I love Harry don't get my wrong but he's had two seasons to prove himself since our champions league qualification season.

Last season I couldn't believe our collapse. This year I thought it was going to be different. Unfortunately it happened again.

The successful teams know how difficult these final months are and fight till the bitter end. We bottle it and roll over with a small club mentality.

Harry is a good manager but when the going gets tough I feel he runs out of ideas..

First off, I have always defended my beloved Spurs. I generally detest the over reaction of many on here when we lose a "should win" game, and overall I believe as a club we have moved on so much over the last few years. Its the best squad we've had for many years, we are a lot more consistent than we have been for many years, we are financially very stable, we have a new stadium to look forward to, etc. As a Spurs fan I feel incredibly proud these days compared to many a year gone by.

That said, and let me be clear that I've also defended Harry a fair bit, I do believe that he has been well and truly caught out. I have no doubt that he is a skilled and good manager. He has demonstrated that he has an uncanny knack for bringing the best out of players who are either at the twilight of their career or are difficult to manage players. But, IMO, he has ridden his luck on the back of this for a long time and that kind of luck cannot continue. Tactically I honestly think he is way behind a lot of his peers, his formation choices are suspect, and his substitutions just completely perplex me sometimes.

And then there is the transfer market where he has been caught out the most. Finally at a club with the power and finances to compete in the upper end of the table he has struggled. It is well documented that he has taken many trips to watch over foreign players, many of whom are so obviously very skilful, many of whom we all agree would do well in the Premiership, but many of whom would obviously cost a fair bit as well. When it comes to spending £10m+ I honestly believe he just gets scared. Instead he goes for the safe option of cheaper but experienced Premiership journeymen. I'm not discounting what Parker, Gallas, and Friedel have brought to the club, although I was somewhat confused by Saha, Nelson, and before that Crouch. No doubt good players, but players capable of competing for a CL place and then in the CL itself??? And what bothers me with these players is that they are all likely to need replaced at roughly the same time, how much will that cost over just one or two windows??

Personally I don't believe that our current form is anything to do with the constant question mark about whether Harry will get the England job. I think it is all about players struggling with the pressure of talk of a chance for the title, a distinct difficulty to score goals even when we are totally dominating an opponent, and a manager who's luck has run out and has been found out. I've finally come to the conclusion that I would like Harry to get the England job, but the biggest irony is that I no longer think his chances are particularly good.

Sacking him now would guarantee the end of our season. The players wouldn't give a shit playing for a caretaker manager, and we could kiss goodbye to a possible cup, and a top 4 finish.

Let's see what happens in the remaining games. This could still end up being our best ever premiership season.

Exactly how I see it. If we dont finish in the top four from the position we were in then it is an epic fuck-up. Serious questions would have to be asked of the players but ultimately Harry would have to take responsibility for some of the decisions he has made in recent weeks.

Do you reckon any Manchester United fans thought about sacking Sir Alex Ferguson when they lost to Blackburn at home?
