Someone has just told me thatTalksport are reporting that Ronaldinho has said that he wants to work with Ramos, and is not interested in pay.

Supposedly, he is sick of beinglaughed at, and ridiculed, and wants to come to London to show what he can do.

Did anyone else hear this?

It was on midweek from a spanish football expert.

He said Ronny has asked if Ramos is seriously interested.

Since then BBC are saying he is Milan bound.

Sorry mate, it is a non-starter.

I dont personally believe that Ramos' pull would be this strong, Im sure he can help persude a number of Spanish/Spanish based players to sign for us if they were targeted.. however I doubt it would be to the extent where a player like Ronaldinho would choose to take a considerable wage cut to play for us ahead of the likes of AC/Inter Milan, Chelsea and other European CL contenders

Thing is, AC probably won't be in the CL next year. They're 5th now and not playing well at all.

Still, I think there's a bigger chance of playing against him in the UEFA Cup in a Spurs v Milan tie than him playing for us in the same game.

No he will be moving to Italy. Also, don't believe half the tosh that comes from Talk Sport ... When you have clowns like Porky Parry, Ginger Nuts Durham, Spammer Moose and Loud mouth Gaunt .. The only one who is decent is Paul Hawksbee !

AC Milian are a club so big and with such rich history that one year out of the champions league would not detract from their allure. They are a European powerhouse on a level where only Liverpool and in more recent times Man Utd can compete in England. So while Milans season has been a poor one, they will sign a host of top class players in the summer and come back a much stronger force for next season.Players like Berbatov will know this and he and any other targets they have will not be put of by a lack of CL football for one season (how many times have they been in the CL final since it began?) so while we will probably be in the same Uefa cup with them next year, they are very much a CL pedigree team where as we are only just becoming an estabilshed Uefa cup challanging side. (not through the league this year I might add)

I'd be happy to let Milan take him, too over-rated for me. Has his moments of pure brilliance, but once that's done, nothing.

Yea I know, same situation as Bayern were in before this season. Bayern then sign Toni and Ribery and voila, they win the Bundesliga again.

it's never going to happen, but could you imagine just how incredible we could make him again: really fit and lean with alvarez, with the discipline of ramos to keep him under control (also off the field) and once again being the darling of the fans

He'd party London out on its feet. Meanwhile ticket prices go up to pay for him to sleep off his hangovers.

i heard that on talk sport today and what the reporter said that if ronaldinho gets it his own way which he doesnt somtimes he will move to london (not spurs) but he said if he can get conformation because he is not sure if ramos actually wants him then if barca and spurs make a deal he will be happy to go there but they also said that if ronaldinho come it will probably be the end for berbatov

have you been given a crazy shot by Dr Maniac? who in their right mind would say no to ronaldinho??? you make it sound like we'd be doing milan a favour by taking ourselves out of the running. Ronaldinho is 10 steps above all all our attacking mids (possibly combined) and you're saying you dont want him?

just to say, i don't believe this rumor, i'm just being hypothetical.

This is all true, but (in Berbatov's case, rather than Ronaldinho's) he's said his body clock is ticking down and it will soon be too late for him to have children.

Luckily for Milan, Sampdoria and Udinese both blew the chance to go ahead of them this weekend, otherwise they'd be out of the UEFA places.

Stop press is that Inter are trying to gazump Milan's move for Ronny.

I just can't see Ronaldinho playing in England. Can you imagine him turning out for an away game game in Wigan in Jan? Shitty pitch, freezing cold and getting kicked up in the air. He's be on the next plane to Milan.
Saying that i'd love to see him in Enlgand and i'd shoot my load if it was in a Spurs shirt but it ain't going to happen.
