Yes, piss ridden dogshite these days. I will always respect his 100+ goals for us but he will forever be tarnished by his love for his multitude of boyhood clubs that he loved far more than us.

Can we claim on his insurance as a major soak?

Multitude of boyhood clubs?

Two, Celtic (which is basically the Republic of Ireland national team in the way it is supported) and Liverpool, the town in England with by far the richest and deepest rooted Irish heritabe and culture. It's no coincidence that so many Scouse footballers both look Irish and have Irish sounding names (Gerrard, Rooney, Carragher, Murphy, etc).

Sadly, no matter how true thisis (and it is very true - hey, I've studied this shi'ite:grin:), and it doesn't matter how many timesthe Plebs Pleborum have this explained to them, they just will insist on bringing it up again.

I guess it's living proof of seperate evolution, eh:wink:

"heritabe" - Dunno about that though, is is a cross between 'inheritable' and 'heritage'

You mean you couldn't tell that two years ago when we bought him back?

There were those that beleived after scoring some goals in Scotland that he could be back to his best.....what idiots.....

Kris Boyd is doing well aint he...... (bottom of the championship)

Is that some sort of thesis that is specifically this rather than that one?

Sorry SP, you brought out the pedant in me!

The best we can hope for is to use him as a £5m make-weight in a deal with Villa for Ashley Young, or with Newcastle for Carroll.

It would be a sad end, really. Despite recent low-points there were also some real highs along the way. All past tense now I'm afraid.

There was a post match interview with Harry recently where someone asked him about Crouch's good form and his reply was something along the lines of 'yeah, but it's not just Crouch that we've got up front ....it's Defoe and Pav too.' It's pretty obvious from that comment that Keanes days are numbered. Hopefully we can find another club form him in January because I'm sure he's still a decent player who can score a few goals at this level.

The sad thing about it is that he just seems to have accepted the situation.

When he arrived back from his loan spell with Celtic, and a chance to play in the Champions League, I really thought it would be the motivation he needed to kick-start his (floundering) top-flight career, but this expected rejuvenation has just not materialised.

I'm all for a healthy, trouble-free dressing room, but there's been barely a quote from him indicating that he'll have to move on if he doesn't get a regular game, let alone any evidence suggesting he's determined to fight for a regular place in our line-up.

All very sad. Maybe he thinks he's got nothing to prove.

I agree. He even plays poorly for Ireland now too!!

Regarding the Liverpool/Irish thing, Rooney was eligible to play for Ireland.

Now he's getting grief for doing the opposite of what he used to get grief for

He'll be shipped out to Wolves on loan in jan. He'll do well there, asking price will be bumped up another couple of mill come the summer. 7M for Keane would satisfy.

Carroll is the one we need to go for. That's the only bit of business I reckon we need to do in Jan.

I don't understand all this love for Carroll. If you think we resort to shit football when Crouch is on the pitch then it won't be any better if we got Carroll.
