If I could, I would. I don't really know much about the kids to be honest, but my point was more about how little Bale has done. He hasn't played like an experienced pro, and given the kind of games he's featured in I don't think it'd be a huge downgrade to play an u23 and see what he can offer. This is assuming Bale doesn't improve, and from what I'v seen I don't anticipate it.
You are right he hasn't performed that well but the goals in Ropey League and against Brighton were welcome. He may still come good but it is pretty unlikely. Anyway lets smash that lot from West London and go on an unbeaten run until the end of the season!

Fuck Madrid. We've got a big enough problem ourselves having paid him around £6,000,000 so far for pretty much fuck all.

I enjoyed watching the plane, then I had ice cream. It was a good day, though you're right, £6m seems excessive for ice cream.

They can pay 100% of his wages and we'll keep him for another season, problem solved

If it doesn't work out here, maybe he could be loaned to swansea for £1m or so next season. They might be in the prem too, but if he has totally lost his pace, maybe he'd be better off in the championship.
Alternatively something might suddenly click here. You never know,
