Job done.

A good result in the end without playing amazing.
I thought we played well In parts but never really ripped them apart.

Swansea are a good team on the ball and they keep it well, they were looking to get us on the break.

I thought we should of scored a few more and did have a couple of good chances but our movement again was a bit poor and we lacked that final bit of creativity, soldado needs service bad we are not giving it to him, without the penalty I do not think we would of scored.

After the goal when we needed to Keep the ball we just sat back and Swansea were passing it around in midfield. Lucky they had nothing up front and never really looked a threat

Overall a good well worked win but we dedfo need a playmaker

Lloris-9 some very good saves from some hard shots

Walker-5 couple of ok moments, but gave it away constantly, some poor balls, got caught, looked shaky

Vert-8 good game, made some strong challenges, couple of good balls, calm under pressure

Dawson-8 done ok today, few shaky moments, back heel etc but made a strong crucial tackle and actually made a verye clever ball

Rose-5 poor game, gave it away so many times, looks so poor defensively, not a natural defender, no brain, awful ccrossing

Chadli-6 bit quiet, couple of nice touches and runs, can tell he's a good player need more for him

Paulinho-8 good game, good on the ball, broke up play vewell, got into some good positions, unlucky not to score

Dembele-6 done couple of ok things, gave it away silly early on, again need more for him,

Townsend-8 good game, some great runs and skill, got the penalty, done well

Capoue-8 good game, broke up play very well, was involved in everything, good good player

Solado-8 great penalty will always score them, tried hard, just did not have any service

Everyone's been raving about him since he signed, and I thought I was watching different games. Today I thought he performed how everyone else reckoned in the previous games. Thought he was excellent
Agree. Think he's been competent but unspectacular in the previous two games; today I thought he ran the show.

Everyone here is completely overlooking Chadli's contribution. His dribbling, tracking back, and crossing is very good. Chadli actually created our two best scoring chances from open play. He set up Paulinho's first half volley that should've been a goal with a great dribble and precise cross. He also played that pass that sprung Paulinho at the end of the game, which should've been another goal.

Vertonghen and Lloris are both world class. We need to finish in the top 4 to keep these guys, cause Barcelona and PSG will be after both of them next summer.

Absolutely agree. He's a full beastage as well and very hard to knock off the ball. Gonna be a fans' fav.

Capoue MOM, broke up the oppositions play countless times. Looked very promising. Some real sharp direct passing going forward. Little Paul a close second who just exudes class.

Am I the only one who thought Paulinho was a bit poor for a player of his reputation? He wasn't bad, but I expect more from him
Na there was this other guy who said the exact same thing as you

He was sat in a door way sniffing glue out of a paper bag and rambling about the Queen being an evil reptilian trying to enslave us all too mind

Capoue was MOTM for me, everyone else was decent, apart from Dembele who I thought hid out the way a lot and was quite poor. Paulinho was very good.

It was workmanlike and efficient, which is what it needed to be, we were much better than last week.

Towsend for me. He got a penalty and probably should have got two.
I think the spurs coaching team have done what they did with Bale....put him on the right, encouraged him to cut in and shoot. He is showing promise. I didn't used to like him, but he is winning me over.

I didnt watch the game fully but walker for me was very good on the overlap and with his crosses and I know he couldnt pass to save his life today but he was really putting pressure on Rangel and getting in behind

I find Walker quite annoying at times, his passing is woeful yet he thinks he is entitled to take set pieces and the other thing is his cockiness about using his speed.
Why does he make things difficult for himself by giving his opponent a headstart before catching up with him?
It's like he is playing a little game with them.
It almost led to a goal for Swansea today.

Paulinho,Capoue and Verthongen all super today.
The rest apart from Walker, all good.

Paulinho and Capoue played well in midfield. Walker was influential, I like him getting better and better. Again Lloris was great pulling off key saves and decisions. For me though the game breaker, the main threat, the bum off the seat man was Andros Townsend Man of the match.
