Spurs are back at Wembley!

Win our next two FA Cup ties and we will have won a trophy!!

And we scored 6 without Kane. One man team my arse!!

Janssen my MOTM for his historic achievement! Yeah I loved that even more than Son's Hat trick!

Gotta love the mighty Spurs!!

Tempted to vote Janssen \o/
But can't look past Son today
Everyone did good, against poor opponent obviously,
Trippier started like a clown, but improved and showed off his incredible crosses again

I love Trippy and Winks but Victor was immense again today. Didn't let them get hold of the ball. You might say he rattled their cage.

I really, really, really wanted to give it to Trippier. After a dodgy first 15 minutes, some of his passing today was outstanding. That ball for the third wouldn't have looked out of place in a Hoddle show-reel - which, bearing in mind he's our reserve right back, is genuinely flabbergasting.

That said, Son gets it. Not just for the hat-trick. Not just for the quality of the finish for the first two. Not just for coming through the racist chants and delivering on the day. But, when he had the chance to go for the hat-trick, he did the unselfish thing and played in Vinny for his goal. Team player. Quality player. Man of the match for me.

Bar a couple questionable first touches, Son showed incredible feet movement and of course, finishing. Man we have some player.

MOTM needless to say.

We are getting in to some really good form of late and the way we are dealing with games is almost faultless. Brilliant to watch, professional and clinical.

Vorm - nothing to do

Trippier - 8 Apart from a few miscontrols he was very good and always an option, that ball to Son was just beautiful.

Vertonghen - 8 Solid in defence, bright, but has the ability to offer more going forward. Probably his best season at Spurs

Toby - 8 Toby

Dier - 5 More and more you see him making last ditch tackles due to poor concentration, he let a few balls bounce and he really needs to improve.

Davies - 7 Nothing bad, but hit the first man a lot, but kept making the runs in behind all game. Continues to prove an able replacement to Rose.

Wanyama - 8 Brilliant at times, I think he does not get enough credit for his technical ability, he really has great potential to become an all round midfielder, and should be looking to add goals to his game.

Winks - 8 Again great in possesion, but he needs to work on bringing goals to his game as well. I would be getting Kane with him and Victor on the training pitch and concentrate on shots from outside the box.

Alli - 8 Such desire to score, you could see he was going to get one at some point. His endless running is remarkable.

Eriksen - 8 Eriksen

Son - 9 Frustrates the hell out of me sometimes with his touch, but his running and shooting ability are second to none. MOM, not just for the goals but his ability to make things happen.

Kane - If he didn't get injured I am sure we would have been talking about him again with goals. Hopefully it's not too bad.

Jansen - 8 So pleased for the lad, great finish and fingers crossed, we will need him with Kane's injury. Loved the one of our own chant, almost tear jerking the support this lad has.

Sissoko - 7 Good powerful run to help create the last goal, good performance.

All round I was really impressed, with each game we seem stronger and stronger, we have a real chance here in the FA cup, time for full strength. I want Arsenal so much for the semi's, both City and Chelsea worry me a bit. Although we should not be fearing anyone in the form we are in,

IMO the hockey assist is what he needs to focus on most and that is what he did today. Yes goals are an added bonus but again IMO he is in the mold of Xavi / Alonso and they respectively didn't / don't get many goals.

Vorm 6 Nothing to do 2nd half. Generally reliable with one loose clearance to touch 1st half.

Trippier 7 Control early on very poor. Crossing often top quality & a continual threat 2nd half
Dier 6 First half looked like he'd be the error likely to happen. 3 nil killed that.
Toby 7 Little troubled and covered Dier very well
Verts 7 Gives a real attacking drive in a back 3
Davies 6 Moments of unreliability(that "clearance" 1st half) combined with some attacking threat

Wanyama 8 A rock. Again a goal threat at corners. Like Kante's bigger brother
Winks 7 Very bright as usual. Always seems very economical with the ball and in great positions
Alli 7 Lots of incisive runs & blunt finishes until Eriksen's pass
Son 9 First 30 floundering, but as he often does, worked himself into the game by finding brilliance

Kane NET

Eriksen 9 Changed the game with his goal and opened up play with his forward drives with the ball & simple passes. MOM
Janssen 7 Goal and the desire to score
Sissoko 6 Little impression playing deep

I see a lot of Xavi in him, but in his younger days he chipped in with quite a few goals at Barca. Alonso, less so. I think as a modern day midfielder, unless you are playing the holding role you should be chipping in with a few goals now and again. He was in the position a few times and should be threatening a bit more.

Not quite sure what a hockey assist is, but presuming your talking about cute through balls, then yes he should be looking to try that a little more.

The days are gone where players are going to be the same player for their whole career (see Huddlestone, Defoe and Lennon) with Poch improvement is the key and this guy has massive potential.

In hockey they track assists two passes back from the goal. So Winks -> Xyz -> Goal would be a hockey assist.

I agree goals are always nice and he will chip in.
