Personally I feel like Raphina and Richarlson are low risk, and could make a big impact. Whereas signing a big man could go well or could leave us in a another situation where that player doesn’t settle well and we may as well not have them.

Basically I’m having/had a shit week after having a 7 * 6.5 * 2.5 cm tumour removed from my face. Lots of other things in life are a challenge and I would just like to smugly look at these transfers rolling in on SSN while texting gooner friends to cheer me up. Is that too much to ask? ?

Edit: keeping the gore away from the pics but posting an image of the circle drawn around the tumour (post op pic so it’s gone) so you can see the size of the bad boy

Would also be nice to sign a Brazilian known for being dangerous and tricky. When we usually sign the Gilberto’s of this world. No offence to Lucas who I think is massively underrated by us

But that's a debate for another thread.....

So they are hemorrhaging money, what do they do, sell off future revenue streams, just for the here and now.

This club are a joke, I hope they go pop.
Great club but they have an overriding need based on their history to remain relevant and it seems like they are happy to take financial risks to do so.

If he goes to Arsenal so be it. Plays in the same position as their Golden boy Saka, arguably the same position as their new Fabio Viera and ultimately they should very much be focusing the £65m+ on areas elsewhere in their squad. Good player, but not one that bridges the gap.

We shouldn't be worrying about what they do, they supposedly won the transfer window last season and look what happened. They're irrelevant, lets focus on ourselves and continue pushing on. We have so, so much to look forward to. COYS.

the door opening for Bremer probably changes the calculus on Raphinha vs Richarlison. Getting Raphinha means we’d still need a striker. Richarlison can cover that position. So you’re looking at:

Bigtime LCB
Raphinha
Backup striker
Another CB

or

More affordable LCB (like Llllllenglet or NDicka)
Richarlison
Bremer

Would rather the former tbh. Think we need another forward regardless so if Berwijn leaves we should be looking to sign two, and think we should be prioritising a LCB over Bremer.

The first option looks much more attractive tbh

Haha so true.
His injury history is absolutely shocking. Some big injuries in there too.

I remember Celtic accepted a relatively low up front fee for Tierney. One of the behind-the-scenes explanations at the time was that the club was worried that he would continue to break down.

65m + is crazy for player in last yr, yes he is good, but nuts money. Suspect he will wangle his way to Barca even if that means a little less money for Leeds, esp if player digs his heels in.
