Don't even need him if some of these other deals come off, but please let's just do it to make them cry more.

Love him, think he's going to be a massive player for years to come but I also don't really see why us or Arsenal would be going for him with other needs in the squad.

We already have Kulusevski and Arsenal already have Saka. Don't think you can play him through the middle either and he seems a lot more comfortable on the right.

I'd be happy if we signed him but someone like Richarlison seems a much better fit.

I suspect he'll hang on for Barca regardless.

I rate Raphinha pretty highly but if we secure Eriksen and (if we are lead to be believe) that Conte wants to target a more physical presence up top then don't quite see how Raphinha fits into this narrative.

I quite like Raphina but wasn't sure if he's who I'd be going all out for.

Until I spoke to my Leeds supporting mate just now who said Levy aint paying that and now this is the most important deal we do all fucking summer.

WOW. I like him but definitely prefer Richarlison as he fits our requirements to cover any of the front three positions much more.

He's really good. I think he was straight up better than Sancho this year for example.

But his high level qualities come in isolation situations and providing a real touchline winger and transition outlet.

Great player, don't get me wrong. I don't think he's the best fit as he can't play in the centre like Charlison can, but if Conte wants him then I would have no issues, he's a real livewire with great footballing intelligence.

If we’re getting rid of Bergwijn / maybe Lucas we could do with some more depth on the wings, Perisic can cover LW which leaves Kulu and Raphinha battling it out on the other side. Plus I’d love to see a 20 tweet thread from an Arsenal fan as to why they don’t need him and he’s not good enough for them after obsessing over him for the past month

If we fail with Richarlison, I could imagine we go for Raphinha to cover Son and Kulu and a back-up striker.

Also thought he was nailed on for Barca but i'm guessing that has either cooled or that they desperately need to unload players (De Jong?) first to get funds in place
