I fear we will go ultra attack & end up losing when a draw can be enough depending on other results !

A draw might be enough assuming Pawson isn’t reffing the Burnley - Arsenal game on the final day. Given his performance at Cardiff-Chelsea and for our games at times this season, he has a wager on who makes top 4!

Seriously though, Burnley can deny the goons. Final game and all that

I’ve been convinced all season we would get top 4 but I think that’s it now. I just don’t see where the goals are going to come from for us to beat Everton. Which we will need to do as arsenal will win both their last two games.

Levy will do the usual if we're not careful. And that is take it out on the manager. Redknapp finished 4th and was fired. That same season we genuinely could have won the league if we'd gambled in the January transfer window but instead we didn't bother, just like we didn't invest the Champion's League money from Redknapp's era into the team either.

Levy doesn’t do emotions. He’ll just change the manager.

It’s all well and good if he gets someone world class and backs him with proper investment but we know he won’t.

It's not Everton I'm worried about, they're different away from home.

It's us that terrifies me. I'd be sceptical regardless of who was in front of us on the last day to be honest. If anything, a team Everton who likes to attack is better for us. Without Son, I would really worry about our inability to break teams down who sit back so I'm glad we won't be playing one of those defensive teams.

I’ve been convinced all season we would get top 4 but I think that’s it now. I just don’t see where the goals are going to come from for us to beat Everton. Which we will need to do as arsenal will win both their last two games.

That's one of the massive worries, no one looks like bloody scoring.

Exactly - which is why this club will never progress and while some of us would like to say “see ya” to Enic ownership

I fully expect Eriksen to go. I’ve actually wondered if he had physically left months ago anyway. I do not expect us to sign anyone near his quality with champions league or without it.

Anyone expecting any significant purchases and big increase in quality of the side will be hugely disappointed. ENIC have never really done it. It is what it is imo.

People saying we need champions league etc, it’s not actually going to make any difference to the side in terms of quality. It’ll make a huge difference to us as fans and especially to attendances in the new big shiny gaff though!
Oh no, it'll make a big difference. It's impossible for us to sign Erkisen's quality because other teams can and will pay double the wages for that. But with CL our net spend will stay at zero. We'll reinvest in both a younger replacement and new options elsewhere e.g. CM and RB. Without CL you can expect us to go into next season with the same, painfully insufficient squad as now but with KWP instead of Trippier, Grealish instead of Eriksen and no Alderweireld. Whatever you think of Levy it's impossible for the club to lose £100m and not be massively worse off for it. That's just economic reality.

This run in has been on my mind pretty much constantly for the last 3 weeks. I’m mentally done right now. I think we’ve just missed our chance for top 4.

Sure, I’d taken this position BEFORE the season started - it’s an amazing achivement to be where we are with all things considered...

BUT, the actual situation is we’ve had numerous oppertunities to secure top 4 (or cement our position in the top 4 further) and failed. We’ve been lucky with rivals fucking up, but it should all have been sorted for us by now. We’ve put ourselves in a position were everything comes down to ONE final game - essentially a cup final, and excuse me for living up to my user name but I don’t rate Spurs in a situation like that!

This is why ‘spursy’ is a term. Not securing top 4 from the position we’ve been in is a massive fuck up

lets not forget everton won't have played since friday, a win seems highly unlikely imo due to many reasons, no kane, no son, lack of goals & everton keeping plenty of clean sheets

Since Burnley..

P 11 W3 D1 L7 = 10 Points

Over 37 games - taking us to today - that would be 33 points, putting us 17th, 2 points above Cardiff.

This is relegation form.
Which is why we desperately need investment, and therefore desperately need 4th. I know Son's had a good season, but him, Foyth and Dier today is borderline unforgiveable. Between them, they've put the future prospects of the whole club at huge risk completely needlessly.

I suddenly remembered we have Janssen to bring us the goals against Everton!

Have you guys forgotten Janssen?

As a club we have very much progressed on and off the field under ENIC.

There are arguments against the way they run the club but posts like yours make easy pickings for anyone fully in support of Levy.

Need Wolves to take care of business and lock up last Europa spot to take away some Everton motivation.

We are out of ideas at the moment and don’t look like scoring a goal anytime soon.
We created enough chances to win 5-0 today. If we’d kept 11 players on the pitch we’d have been fine.

Mmm, coinciding with a threadbare, shatteted squad. Imagine if we’d been ambitious enough to spend enough to get the couple of players in the summer that could have eased us into CL qualification by now and perhaps given us a greater shot at beating Ajax. Liverpool went from 75 points last season to where they are now because they invested over a couple of windows and we’re now choking like a gimp that’s been locked in a cellar and forgotten about. Denying lack of investment is just burying your head in the sand

I don’t disagree - but a lack of (sensible) investment (at multiple times) has been criminal. Note word Sensible

We are lucky for Sissoko this year. Q
