Can we stop moaning about injuries for once

But going into the last weeks of the season its as relevant as when matches are played, who plays first etc. Its a major advantage to have a fully fit squad.

Say Liverpool had picked up injuries to Van Dijk and Mane during the international window. Their chances of winning the league probably reduce. Same with us with Dier, or if Kane had been ruled out again etc that impacts us massively

Yes I know all that but there's f all we can do about it I guess, Poch says it's not a problem even though it really is, just go to trust who is available to get the job done.

Yeah I know but it just can’t be ignored. For example, Aguero picked up an injury yesterday but they haven’t said how bad it is yet. Sure they are playing Cardiff at home next and Brighton in the FA Cup but they will want him back for Palace away in two weeks time.

look I don't know if you watch football, but Lingard was injured the week before they played Liverpool. he was brought on in their biggest game of the season, and was taken off straight after (lasted about 10 mins), he was left out of the squad (what's the point if he is carrying an injury. the England games where important to Southgate. he then played v Wolves because their squad was pretty thin but he had been left out of the squad. it gave him 2 weeks to recover and not waste a space in the England squad.

in the same match Rashford was injured and stayed on to avoid playing with 10 men, he then missed the Wolves match, turned up at HQ for England and was sent home the day before. he obviously wouldn't of been use to England if he was still struggling but close to a return. if he had played v Czech rep and taken a knock what use would he of been? that extra week he had off made the difference.

we sent 2 players out of 5 that where only just returning. if Alli had shown signs after Southampton he wasn't safe to play, Southgate would of sent him home. with Dier he was a surprise inclusion due to lack of playing time, but tonsillitis isn't something likely to cause an injury.

if those that played yesterday miss out on the comp in June because Southgate leaves them out, then they only have themselves to blame. me if we have 5 players involved and we lift the trophy on this new tournament I'll be proud

We have totally blown CL football next year. A month ago we were talking about the title, now we'll be lucky to finish 5th.

Being in champions league was fun, Levy has sat here and let the squad deteriorate over the years to the point we're in now with no midfielders, 1 good fullback and no signings for 18 months. Sincerely go fuck yourself.

Right there with you bud. I'm looking forward to go to the new stadium on Wednesday but aside from that I'm so done at the moment. I can't even be bothered to hypothesis about what players we should be chasing as I feel like there is zero chance we will get anyone good, and that's usually one of my favourite past times. The more I see this team play the more I feel we need to have a big overhaul. Not very optimistic for the future at the moment. I'm sure that will change in time, but our team currently looks completely out of ideas, belief and fight. It's inevitable it's going to filter down into the fans.

If it weren't for the new stadium, we'd be fucked.

I actually don’t care too much for what’s going on on the pitch right now. I’ll get back to that depressing situation once Wednesday is done and dusted!

Unfortunately I believe we’ve bottled top 4. If we do miss out it’s the biggest collapse of all the supposed spursy things and the end of this side, which might be a positive

I agree, I look at the team and think there’s only 4/5 players that we must keep to progress onto better things
the rest are very replaceable but there is absolutely no chance that we will replace them in 1 or 2 transfer windows ( and rightly so) but the thing is will the 4/5 players we must keep wait around 2 seasons until i think we will have the squad to challenge
( this is all based on that we will actually spend money)

This is the difference - Chelsea didn’t deserve to win at all and get 3 points, Utd are under the cosh from Watford but come out with a win. Even though our run in looks easier - we always seem to steal defeats from the jaws of victory whereas others will do the opposite
