Good that something is being done but for atleast 1 generation its akin to shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. We have a massive massive gambling problem in this country and the shamless advertising of it before, during & after matches also needs to be addressed rather than just the shirts.
Totally agree. I don’t think anything that has a legal age limit of 18 and above should be on before the watershed and especially not on programming that children may be watching. Gambling had been normalised to a whole generation.

Anyone else think that the Arsenal v Chelsea match being moved to 3 days later at the request of the MET is a bit dodgy? Originally this game was to be played on the evening of 29 April, just 3 days after their away game against City. Now Arsenal get a 6 day break before the Chelsea match and still have 5 days to recover before the Newcastle game.

Just hope it blows up in their face again like when they got their match against us moved last season.

This game was the only game they played before City. Means every game they play will be catch-up to whatever City have done that weekend; I hated it when it was us and Leicester. Personally think it's a lot harder to be the reactive one. (also Spurs suck at it)

I think that is how the situation went down. It was an inadvertent elbow. I dont agree that Robertson should be banned. In my view, this situation is a nothing situation. Id move on. Both could have dealt with it better but int he heat of the moment - id just let it slide.

There's no such thing as an inadvertent elbow when it comes from a Greek.

Doesn't really work as with City's fa cup game scum will already have played 2 games more than City (Soton & West Ham) with probably points in the bag already, when the 2 sides meet each other. City will be playing catch up the whole way I'm afraid. It's highly likely the scum will be on 79 points and City on 70 when they play each other (with City having 2 games in hand). Fixtures massively favour the scum I'm afraid.

And yet they complain :)

Not sure on this personally. City's fixtures are definitely the easier of the two. And they've beaten arsenal at home the last 8 times or something mad. Hence why City are currently odds on to win the league.

They also seem to have finally worked out a formation to get the best out of haaland and the rest of the team. I'd be suprised if city drop a point tbh and I expect them to win by 5 points+

The FA closed the case with the AR who made contact with Robertson with no further punishment.

If I had to wager, I'd guess the audio/video didn't shine a light on Robertson either and it was probably in the interest of all parties (Liverpool/FA/PGMOL) for this to get resolved quietly by saying they've talked to each other and agreed it wasn't a big deal.

Robertson obviously grabbed/tried to grab the AR tp get his attention, and I think rather than have both parties banned (the logical result of any investigation), they just let them go with a warning.

They should be giving that assistant referee a medal for sorting out Robertson to be honest. :playful:

Here's hoping mate, I was just commenting on the fact City will be playing catch up the whole way due to scum having 2 gimmes before they play each other so will be 9 point ahead going into it.

He tries to talk and act like he's stoic and smart, but underneath I reckon he's still a bitter, angry ****.

I bet he was the kind of kid who would torch ants with a magnifying glass in the sun. Probably still does it now.
