Would anyone take Watkins as a replacement if Kane were to leave?

and CBs, midfield and wingers + WatkinsI'd take emery
Emery's Villa three points behind us as it stands. People rightfully give Levy shit but you have to say Conte completely underachieved. Emery's levels ahead of him.
Why didn't Conte with us?Why didn't he challenge for the title with Arsenal then?
Think a lot of it comes down to will and effort by the players. Look at Villa today - fighting and running for every ball all over the pitch. Why didn't he challenge for the title with Arsenal then?

I get really bored with the excuses people make for Conte. We’re entitled to more than saying the players are lazy for 20m a yearThink a lot of it comes down to will and effort by the players. Look at Villa today - fighting and running for every ball all over the pitch.
Arsenal didn't have it and our players now surely don't bother. If all that is on the manager is another question.

Which was the same place Conte had finished with a better team the year before. If you look at what the two have achieved this season relative to their sides, it's chalk and cheese.Well you said Emery is levels ahead of Conte and yet when Emery was managing arsenal, he had them in roughly the same place as Wenger had in the previous two seasons.
With hindsight replacing Wenger was always likely to lead to a dip. Happened with Fergie too - when a manager has been there that long the whole club reflects them. Emery is a top managerWell you said Emery is levels ahead of Conte and yet when Emery was managing arsenal, he had them in roughly the same place as Wenger had in the previous two seasons.
He's certainly one of the best options out there.Would anyone take Watkins as a replacement if Kane were to leave?

Emery seems to be better with underdogs. Why didn't he challenge for the title with Arsenal then?
