It’s easy for Lester to act that way when they don’t have an expectant fan base such as ours. Yes they won the league, but the fans don’t expect it again or even expect top 4.

Whereas our team was consistently doing well, our fan base is much more expectant and there would have been uproar is we had sold Dele and Eriksen. Levy would have been vilified.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing
If only the Spurs fans at large were representative of the patient fan base on here.

Robert Snodgrass' omission from the West Brom squad beaten at West Ham on Tuesday is being investigated by the Premier League.

The former Scotland midfielder, 33, joined Albion from the Hammers on 8 January for an undisclosed fee, making his debut in Saturday's win at Wolves.
But he missed the West Ham game because of "an agreement between the clubs", West Brom boss Sam Allardyce said.
Key point I think you omitted, is that an agreement to not play someone after is a transfer is against PL regulations. Hope the Spammers are deducted 32 points or so.

Hard to believe there where some on here that thought Rodgers would not be good enough to manage Spurs. If things went pear shaped with JM then i would be in favour of going for him. His teams play a very watchable brand of Football.

Just have to drop this here. What an interview by James Maddison! It has it all really. Highly recommend to watch it.

That's one of the best post-match interviews from a player I've ever seen. Had no idea he was so eloquent.

Have to assume he'll either be a manager or at the very least an excellent pundit someday.

Didn't Redknapp have "an agreement" with Moyes to not play Saha against Everton after we signed him?

I reckon if Chelsea went for Brenton he’d go for it. He’d love a chance like that again and I think he used to be a youth coach there or something like that.

I really rate Rodgers. The problem with going for the chelscum job is the same problem as real madrid. You have a blip and you're out.

Do you really want that over say a secure and stable environment that Leicester provide?
