Is it me or is the media conveniently forgetting that Liverpool had a nine point lead over City at one point this season?

They've been very consistent and I'm not being cynical but that's a big lead that they ultimately surrendered.

The truth hurts.

This won't be mentioned by anyone if they fail to win the title. You can guarantee the word "brave" will be mentioned though.

That doesnt fit their narrative though. The media are willing them to do it. They bottled the title but no one will talk about that if they dont win it. NBC has their team at the liverpool match even though City are more likely to win the title atm. It would be crazy to not be at the place where the title would be won if it werent expected to be elsewhere. I could see some funny business happen today.
