Can you imagine how unbearably smug Brenton would have been if they had taken a point tonight? Kompany deserves a fucking statue for sparing us all from that.

Brenton would have been crowing, wouldn’t have surprised me if he had took his jacket off to reveal a Liverpool shirt had they won tonight

Update on one of my close friend's (Pool fan) WhatsApp comments.

Responding to my pal's question whether he is coming over and getting tickets for the game - "Going to hang around the ground and if we can't get a ticket watch around there. Going to be a special day."

Then

"But first we got the CL to go through ;-)"

I honestly can't tell if he's being serious or not!!

Would love Brighton to play their under sevens in the last game just to show the scousers how much everyone despises them

This season has proved that draws are a bit overrated, it’s better going for the win than keeping a draw. We and City have proved it, we’ve only got 1 draw this season but 13 losses and are fourth while City only 2 draws 4 losses (Liverpool 1) but are top of the league

Brenton would have been crowing, wouldn’t have surprised me if he had took his jacket off to reveal a Liverpool shirt had they won tonight

The ensuing smug in between him and Liverpool would have been bordering on a genuine crime against humanity.

Thank goodness City won that. I don't like the way they have bought themselves titles but the thought of Liverpool winning something before us fills me with dread.
