When Liverpool scored a goal early in the game, I said that I don't care about the result because we have our own problems. I retract that statement. Liverpool can fuck off and I hope that they lose the title in the 94th minute next sunday, with Van Dijk slipping like Steven Gerrard. I would cream my pants if it ended like that.

I’d like it to be really contentious.

Brighton shock City (who beat Leicester), but Doherty hacks down Mane (no penalty) and then... I don’t know, Neves, handballs it in last minute in slow motion and VVD watches every millisecond of it. Just so he knows what a disgraceful decision it is

also we slam Everton, win the champo league and ascend a higher plain of reality

Perfect, just perfect. Lets pray for it to happen.

I’ve had enough of the officiating in the prem. Has to be an agenda, even subconsciously. How can any professional official give Liverpool a free kick for the Fabinho incident? Sorry but that’s supposed to simply be incompetence? Sky then refuse to show the replay of it and all we get is Carragher saying ‘Fabinho has been clever’

I hope Salah never plays football again and ends up skint working in a circus as a performing midget.

Harsh on the circus industry

I think Salah and Fabinho would be superstars in synchronized diving.

If you said to me this is the standard of premier league officiating now, I’d stop watching it. This year it’s fallen off a cliff completely. So strange. Why is it suddenly so poor?

I wasn't an advocate of VAR and the hold up in matches it brings but with the last few months of match changing decisions escaping simple justice I have to say bring it on.

If teams like Liverpool are winning by default every time they play it needs to be compulsory.

It seems like the refs are making the transition to VAR next season very easy. All I’m hearing is ‘can’t wait for VAR’ when it comes to the officials in the prem this season.

Liverpool have been handed about 15 points from officials this season I’d guess. Disgusting really

I'd say that at least.

Why do people care if Liverpool win the league? If they beat this City team to the league.. fair fucking play.

They’ve dug deep and won loads of games

Just seen Salah came off, Origi on, and he gets the winner. Great sub. Also Shaqiri on and provides an assist? That’s class management tbh.

Richard Scudmore is on record as saying they want it to go down to the last day.
They certainly have what they want.

Because the premeir league is a billion dollar business. No one gonna tell me there is no manipulation of games in this league.

It's because so many decisions have gone their way, both in the league and CL. And it's not 50/50 decisions that can be discussed, it has been clear offsides like the one they got against West Ham, dives from Salah, red card offences that wasn't punished like today and against Napoli/Porto in the CL. Van Dijk almost ended Mertens career and Salah put his studs in the leg of a Porto defender. In the same game, Porto should have been awarded two penatlies but didn't. I know that every team gets lucky with decisions from time to time, but Liverpool is taking it to a whole new level.

All we need is an Arsenal, Chelsea and Utd win to truly curl a turd on top of our already rotten weekend cake....

They’ve let us off in recent weeks so I can’t see it continuing for too much longer I’m afraid. If it does then the gods really are on our side for once.

VAR will not be used to check every little thing like the Fabinho dive. Refs can keep deciding games whatever way they please. Fabinho should be punished and some of these refs should lose the license to ref the PL to set an example. Its horrible how refs can invent invent fouls to give teams so much help.
