I don't mean to be facetious but every time we've broken our transfer record we had, by definition, never spent that amount of money before. If we followed your line of reasoning we'd never break our transfer record. Have faith, be optimistic.

the majority of these teams look very tasty to me.

if we have either modric/moutinho in there at the start of the season and Lloris in goal i seriously think we can challenge for the title.

the defence looks very, very solid, strong yet creative midfield and power and pace up front..... im well excited.
