PL are meeting this week to decide to end the PPV.
All I got was a bunch of lag on Peacock. Cancelled my trial mid-match.
Because they’re free to air for every other country in the World bar ours? Why should it be free to air
Are they though? Surely in the US they pay for NBC and Fox subscriptions etc?Because they’re free to air for every other country in the World bar ours?
Because they’re free to air for every other country in the World bar ours?
Definitely not true.Because they’re free to air for every other country in the World bar ours?
I bet there's a lot of opposition from the food banks.PL are meeting this week to decide to end the PPV.
If the price was reasonable i would've paid it. £14.95 for one game of football is a rip off.
Don't be so rude and stupid!I think anything over a £5 is a rip-off, especially for the lower down teams. Don't you get a kids season ticket at West Ham for about that amount normally?
Definitely not true.
In the US you need cable for NBCSN and also pay for peacock streaming service.
While that is true, NBCSN is wrapped into the basic sports packages on both cable and DirecTV, so if you watch lots of other sports, the price for PL football prorates out drastically. And Peacock is I think $6.95/mo for the balance of the PL schedule that isn't on NBCSN or network (which is free, but only get one or two matches/week tops).
A fairer comparison to US is the NFL Sunday Ticket package, which gives access to all games not on free TV for about $20/mo last time I checked. That's in no way unreasonable, and I suspect based on better market research. I wouldn't be surprised that if they dropped prices in the UK they'd actually improve revenues.
