I probably agree but going forward (runs and finishing), PEH offers much more of a threat than any of our other midfielders - and especially more so than Skipp.
Thats probably true to be fair. He does get into the penalty area whereas Skipps best work is deeper

Should have been sold years ago.
If we'd paid 15m for Sanchez he would have gone by now.
As we spunked 40m up the wall Levy has been praying he'll miraculously become worth what we paid for him.
Never gonna happen.
We are so shit when it comes to spending big money.
Luckily we're pretty good at getting world class for not a lot.

Considering he has been at the club for 6 years his original transfer fee is meaningless from a balance sheet point of view which is all Levy will care about.

Yeah it is now so hopefully we'll see the back of him. Imagine spending 40m 6years ago and getting that level. At least we went one better with Ndombele lol. That one is gonna take some beating.

Can see why Cont thinks we need a dribbler, none of our players can really take a man on.

So Sporting got beat 2 - nil by Porto conceding a second in the 86th minute. Porro played the whole game and wasn’t brought off with a couple of minutes to go for the sporting fans to give him a final round of applause. After the game was over however, the camera was definitely concentrated on him more than any other Sporting player and before he left the pitch there was a point where he was giving the thumbs up and waving to the Sporting fans while patting the badge on his shirt. Definitely seemed like a goodbye moment to me.

I've been searching for a Sessegnon player thread but couldn't find it so just posting here instead.

I just don't rate the lad at all and I'm not sure what he brings to us as a team. I think it's because he brings absolutely nothing to the team. Really think we should be looking to move him out in the Summer.
Yep his time is up now.

What a good all round performance. Keep growing with confidence, keep focused , things can only get better. Grow as team , shouldn’t be scared of anyone.

I've never seen anything in him that looked at the level required. We make these signings trying to find the next Bale. Problem is compounded in that it potentially blocks the path of any our own academy players from stepping up.

If you watch him , he never sprints, flat out, any more. I think, for fear of doing his hamstring again!! He reminds me of Michael Owen in later years.

I've always wondered how the fuck Spurs have squandered so much yet got some of the best bargains ever.

For every Rebrov, Postiga, Sanchez, Ndombele, Lo Celso etc there is a Bale, Rose, Modric, Lloris, Kulu, Eriksen, Walker, Bentacur etc

Because all transfers are a gamble. All clubs if you really scrutinised their transfer business will have a similar record.

Because we all a so invested in Spurs we don't really pay attention that closely to what goes on with other clubs transfer successes and failures.
