Don't think we'll see him for a couple of months now will we with him missing 4 games and then the AFCON.
I know, i mean if the red cards weren’t bad enough, the timing in terms of injuries, xmas period and then international commitments literally could not be worse!

I opted to not tune in to the match, just playing catch up - deserved red?

Biss has a lot of thinking to do. His second red in half a season and now out for almost 2 months due to suspension and AFCON.
Overall fairly poor performances since Luton too.
In an injury free side I think he's no more than a rotational player for a while, and it may be that we'll have to usher him out long term. Concentration and decision making just isn't there. Really surprising after the start he had pre-Luton.

I'm more concerned by his sudden drop off in agility and speed. Looks like he's carrying a knock or is just heavy legged because of fatigue or something. His touch is also off at the moment. Need him to get back to his early season levels.

Was about half a second away from winning the ball, give him a break.
It’s not just the bad tackle, it was the absolutely lazy touch he took before it that lead to the whole thing. The whole play summed him up, he goes from sublime to shambolic at the drop of a hat.

We have so many cards, maybe it’s all part of learning the new system, lots of stretching and last ditch tackles.

He won't be fatigued but I agree it does look as though he might have been carrying something since that Luton match. It's similar with Richarlison and club kept it super quiet until his surgery was suddenly announced. Makes you wonder.

Sure, and I agree we were sloppy tonight at times but he wasn’t the only one who had a few bad touches and a few loose passes. Credit to forest they were quick in the press and I thought he was unlucky to be sent off for that, just one of those things.

Not angry, just disappointed. Doesn't seem to have learned anything from all of the silly yellows earlier in the season, and been poor in passing ever since that purple patch to start with. Like the guy, and he has what is enough in his locker absolutely, but needs to find it again while he's away, pretty urgently. If Bentancur hadn't been done, I think he'd have lost his starting place after this game.

Was not a forceful challenge, but about two weeks late and knee high.

Born of frustration at giving the ball away, rather than nasty, but still a clear red and totally unnecessary.

He was poor today and it was a sloppy touch that put him in the position to have to go for the ball

never a red for me though, looked to me as though he thought the forest player was going to lift the ball over his leg so pushed it up. He then went under and made the most of it.

absolutely no "excessive force" like Carragher claimed.

Id appeal it, weak red

It's not just the sending off. He's been really poor since Luton. Thought he had turned a corner against Newcastle but he didn't really turn up today

It's double-double frustrating as he demonstrated previously, given a few games and a chance to knock the rust off, he's terrific.

The core issue for me with this latest suspension is that his teammates and Ange cannot rely on him to maintain his discipline.

You would've thought after Luton game, he would've had a chat with himself about these silly and unnecessary challenges. It's like he almost forgets that VAR exists.

He's going to need to earn the teams trust after this. He can't be a starter when he gets back from suspension and AFCON. Needs to start on the bench and build back from there.
