Only as Skipp has been injured for all of that time. He only returned to training again last week.
Yeah, I made no comment about why Skipp has missed time - only that he should not be expected to miss that much time and simply jump back for the same level. It’s a process he will have to undergo to regain his form/fitness and Conte’s trust.

When is he going to start ???? The mf is zzzzzz
Hojbjerg and Bentancur have both been excellent this season so I can understand why he didn't start but incredible not to bring him on when their legs were clearly gone in the second half.

I totally understand it’s a squad game nowadays but Conte totally refuses to utilise our squad, so what’s the point ?

Bissouma has been criminally used imo.

I'm still not sold with Bentancur and Hojbjerg in a two. Both are good players capable of having excellent games but over a course of a season have my doubts as don't really see either having exceptional all round games to do it consistently in a two. Think I'd rather see Bissouma with one other. More mobile and has the ability to drive with the ball.

More I think about it the treatment of Bissouma is absolutely baffling. He was the third signing we made, so by all accounts was someone earmarked by Conte/Paratici as a priority signing. Yet he’s barely played since his arrival. Sure he got 90 mins against West Ham but that was only because Bentancur was concussed. Otherwise he’s got token minutes in the dying embers of games we’ve already had won. I get that Hojbjerg and Bentancur have been impressive this season but it seems like Conte is absolutely desperate for them to play every competitive minute of every game. How is Bissouma supposed to gather match-fitness on the bench every week?! Almost feels like Conte didn’t even want him. Bizzare and when considered alongside the treatment of Spence it just reflects on our window even more poorly imo. Wonder how both are feeling right now.

Feel for Bissouma. Watching our turgid midfield last night and your manager showing absolutely no faith in you to come on. He is levels above Hojbjerg and probably better than Bentancur as well.
The quicker Conte gets Bissouma in this side the better.

Couldn’t even come in when both our midfielders were on a yellow and couldn’t properly stop their counter attacks. Baffling!

How's he ever going to gain confidence and rhythm for us if he never gets played?

1 start so far and ok he wasn't great but the entire team was poor in that match.

Conte's treatment of him so far is ridiculous. One of the best midfielders in the PL the past 2-3 seasons.

Yes he should have come on against Lisbon but Bentancur and Hojbjerg have been playing well. Biss didn't do himself any favours getting that early yellow against the Spammers and having to self-restrict himself going in for challenges

Weird comments from Conte this morning that he's struggling tactically.
Looks like a Fabio choice and not a Conte one. Love Conte but hope this isn't the start of him making a bit of noise. Hopefully it's a nudge to improve just.

He is coming into a new team with a new manager and new tactics and way of playing that he is'nt used to. Conte has them coached to within an inch of their lives so perhaps it's just taking Bissouma a bit longer to understand what he is being asked to do in every aspect of the position. I don't see how this is weird.

It's not only Bissouma Nick, we cant judge the window until the rest of the new signings Bissouma included get proper game time.

Other teams throw their new signings straight into the team, our guys have to acclimatise to the system and barely making it off the bench.

Bentancur and Kulu got thrown straight in. It's clearly a player specific thing.

Bissouma was finding fitness and now he's learning the role. The petulant yellow he got will have set him back. When Sess got that dumb double yellow in Europe last season it set him back. Conte expects professionalism. However, he got his chance again. Conte does seem fair. Bissouma is class, he'll get his chances to show it., hopefully sooner rather than later.
