Rough 1st half (looked like he was feeling his way around) but much better in 2nd when he had to cover for Hojberg not being able to fully go.

I think that’s harsh. He was shaky 1st half and the stupid booking meant he was walking a tightrope. He was much better second half.

what I will say is without Bentancur we really lack quality on the ball in the centre of the park.
True we lacked it before he joined and we miss it now when he is out.

Thought he did a lot of damage to our ability to play with his moronic yellow card 20 minutes in. Seemed cautious thereafter and never really did what he's capable of doing.

Really shoddy yellow, Conte won't be impressed at all

He really should have had more minutes by now. Coming on with 5 or 10 minutes left didn't really prepare him for a start. Looked rusty and frustrated as a result and started chasing it which never works well

Ill be honest looking at that bench today its weak altogether. He only used one sub which is worrying. We need something pulled out the bag tomorrow.
Doubt we sign anyone today looking very unlimely now. I'm not falling into the same trap i do every season lol.

Well we've had an exceptional window why was a man on one leg playing for 50mins. Thought conte loved his options. It was half tongue in cheek due to people telling on here telling me constantly how we had signed an elite CM. Me saying he's similar to what we have already didn't seem to be an issue for most.

Issue we are going to have is if they are all similar and need time together to get used to each other how do we ever rotate them. Kept Sarr back and refused to put him on. Says lot about Contes confidence in him. Emerson was offering nothing had 2 RBs on the bench and didn't want to put either on. But we don't need a ready made RWB. Anyways that's for another thread.
Lot of noise here without really saying anything. If you’re not going to let new signings have any sort of time to settle in then what’s your solution?

Not an excuse, but there were a few reasons Bissouma played with the handbrake on,which he did.
The stupid card got in his mind,he obviously didn't want a red on his full debut in a hot London derby.
That restricted his work off the ball, made him look edgy and is only human played rather safe throughout the game.
Let's stop any doubts what this player will bring to our team, I've been a huge admirer since I first saw him.
He will by the end of the season be one of the first names on our teamsheet...

Picking two of the three each week, its possibly the first time ever as a spurs fan, so about 30 years, that id honestly feel good about whoever we picked in CM from the potential starters (i know others will have their preferred two with many casting hoijberg as the 3rd guy on the bench).

Bissouma will make his mark this season when he gets a run.

Not doubting how good Bissouma is, but Bentancur and Højbjerg have formed a formidable partnership where the sum is greater than the individual parts.

It's now down to Bissouma to prove he should be in there and it won't be easy. I still think he'll get plenty of game time once he's up to speed with what Conte wants but it's no given he'll be first choice in the big games.

Agree. I think we'll see a lot more of Skipp and Bissouma now we have 3 games a week until the World Cup.

I agree
And ATM Bissouma is behind both.
They have earned the right to be first choice , they have both been superb.
I actually mention that Bissouma will be first choice as the season evolves, not now, nothing against the other two.
I think (hope) once Bissouma gets to grips with what Conte wants from him, and he gets a run in the side, he will prove to be a powerhouse in our midfield.
It's good we have four really good options including Skipp.

I think Bissouma will end up being the best midfielder in the prem once he's up to speed with us and for him to be the quality he is and be struggling to get into our midfield is a fantastic problem to have. Credit to Bentancur and Hojbjerg for that.
