I’m slightly bemused that this forum doesn’t seem more excited about this signing. I think he could be the game changer for us and under Conte could become world class
Totally agree mate, over the moon with Peresic and Richarlison but Bissouma is the signing I'm most excited about. Everytime I saw him play for Brighton he was the best player on the park. He has virtually everything in his game. A real game changer signing for the club imo.

Totally agree. He is one of the best midfielders in the premier league. Could play for anyone.

Given their aging midfield, I'm surprised Liverpool didn't go for him, he'd have fit in perfectly.

He will be the signing of the season for me personally. Everyone knows of his quality already. It's just like when Conte signed Kante for Chelsea. The one game changer signing to take them from 8th the previous season to the title the following season.

I believe Bissouma will have the same impact for us too. Conte knows a proper CM when he sees one.

We didn't have a clear run at him, he had loads of clubs interested but wanted us.
Cheers for the confirmation. It’s lovely to know that he must have made it clear to other suitors not to waste their time. Gonna love this guy at the Lane.

Probably our biggest signing of the summer because he will make everyone around him better. (to date) The case could be made for Perisic too especially for his intangibles but this is the one that has me buzzing.

I unleashed my dancing bananas when Bissouma signed

It doesn't get much more exciting than that

I think if Liverpool signed him he'd have been more widely discussed as an amazing signing etc.
Indeed. I have a friend who’s a Liverpool fan. Before we signed Bissouma he was stating how good he was and was adamant Liverpool would sign him. Now we’ve signed him, Liverpool stepped away apparently he’s a disruptive influence and wouldn’t fit in with their tight-knit squad ?

Football fans all over. Player looks like he's joining, best player ever, player turns them down, he's shit, didn't want him anyway.

Seen in abundance over at Arsenal this summer with the likes of Raphinha, Bissouma etc

it's just pure copium.

A knowledgeable Man U supporting mate of mine was the first to text our group and say what a fabulous signing he is

I really don't think it has escaped people's attention at all

Not for this thread perhaps but adding his ability, stamina, strength to our now much tighter defence and you can really see us keeping a lot of clean sheets and being really difficult to beat. Though the likes of Man City and Liverpool may still have better overall squads on paper it is easy to make a case for us being similarly consistent and challenging

He's just not asthmatic enough to fit in at Liverpool
