Let's just skip over the most recent of seasons and go back instead.....Is that why he didn't get a red card in 13/14 or 14/15?

Being a CL club and a side not too far off from challenging for the league again we are in a position to sign top quality. Is he really of that desired quality to take our team up a level or just another squad filler?
Personally speaking he's a red card waiting to happen. He's really indisciplined and picks up yellow/red cards galore leaving his team in a vulnerable position. Not a fan of his at all....
Remind me how many reds he picked up last year....? Was it close to the 3 this plodder got? We are in a position to sign top quality, players who can make a REAL difference. Arsenal sign a top quality midfielder in Xhaka, and yes I've seen plenty of him as I watch a lot of Bundesliga, and we go for this plodder..... #AmbitionThat Eric Dier is a bit of a saint isn't he?
Your claim that he picks up 'red cards galore' is incorrect- yes, he had a poor disciplinary record last season (with two red cards being debatable), but the 2 seasons before that, he didn't receive any red cards. Also, Dier received 10 yellow cards last season and should've been sent off twice (vs Arsenal and vs Chelsea) but I don't see anyone complaining about that.Let's just skip over the most recent of seasons and go back instead.....
No point mentioning Xhaka as he cost £35m and we're not going to spend that money on a CM (or anyone). And Wanyama will make a difference if he signs, as we will have a better chance of closing out games, and real competition for Dier.Remind me how many reds he picked up last year....? Sounds exactly like Tony was described by quite a few this me last year. He's got a simple job, protect the back four. Not an fan of VW from what I've seen. Slow, lumbering, not a good passer and not good technique. What's to like?
Jesus. Are Man city and Chelsea and Arsenal More ambitious than us? Or maybe they just have more money maybe?? We don't have 35Remind me how many reds he picked up last year....? Agree. But Poch and his team will get some wrong. FAZIO! Thought they won't go wrong with victorSomeone please go to the archives and bring back the archaic comments before we signed Toby. Give the management the benefit that they are more informed than us on their preferred targets and signings.

Expect radio silence for all of next week!If he's signing the contract on Monday, I'd expect an announcement on around 24th August 2027.
