Not going to lie and say it doesn't make sense or that he's unreliable but Ndombele is clearly a plan A for us and would be an after thought/plan Bish for Madrid. Would hope we push our interest quick and aggressively to complete the deal while Madrid are still arguing over Pogba vs Eriksen.ESPN reporter saying that Madrid want him, and will bid, if they don't get Pogba

I would place a healthy bet on real madrid 'interest' being part of the Aulas game.
This end of the month stuff is interesting. I remember it before with Liverpool and Fekir. It's to boost their figures at the end of their financial year I believe.
It's not just those sides it's TV money too. We received £235m in TV money this year!
Poor EPL side:
Bournemouth paid £21m for Solanke who had a grand total of 1 professional goal to his name.
Top 10 side:
Everton paid £45m for Sigurdsson... a decent player but not a top 6 player.
Top 6 side:
Spurs - being asked to pay circa £60-80m for N’Dombele and Lo Celso, 2 players whom are both being pursued by Europe’s elite clubs.
Top 6 team in Europe.
PSG paid £135m for M’bappe Lottin and £222m for Neymar, 2 world class players.
Therefore us paying £60-80m when taking into account the above pecking order isn’t unreasonable. Yes it’s still an eye watering amount of money but it’s the going rate for quality players. Should they go on to become world class then they will be completely out of price range.
