If there is a June deadline on his sale, however, it would make sense as to why Aulas is going through the media to try and drum up interest. It's obviously not moving quick enough for his liking.

Quicker he wants to get rid, the higher I'd put our chances - the elite teams will still be shopping elsewhere, I'd imagine.

Le10Sport are extremely hit or miss. They're either spot on or making up rubbish, no inbetween.

Up to interpretation which this story is, but given they broke our interest and claimed we were a real destination early on and everyone else followed, I'd personally pay attention to this.

This is where it gets a bit murky. Sort of like The Sun which has been reliable about Spurs in the past it is hard to decipher their exclusive reports and their just regurgitation of rumors out in the wild. Their exclusives are not terrible by journalistic standards but both get spread so fast it's not always easy to tell.

That’s one of the problems with translating foreign languages, it’s so easy to get the wrong end of the stick.

I just hope we don’t fanny about like previous windows were we’ve refused to pay those extra millions because we didn’t deem the player worth the asking price... therefore ended up with no one and left with gaping holes in our squad. It’s simple, if you want quality players then you have to pay the going rate.
