I'd personally put money on Dier being his partner in a double pivot.
What money is that though? The price they quoted that we agreed? The price they changed to after that? The price they change it to after we agree that?Normally I'd agree, but in this case I'd just pay the money.
It's a great opportunity to start putting a real gap between us and the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal in terms of the quality in our squad.
We literally have the lowest wage to turnover ratio in the premiership. To put in perspective, we are 5% below the minimum percentage to be paid under the NBA salary cap. The MINIMUM.While our lack of transfers hasn't been ideal we do have to remember how much has been pumped into our wage budget to keep the talent we already have. When we sign e.g. Kane up to £200k per week for five years, that's £50m right there. Well worth it obviously, but a large expense nonetheless.
Yeah that’s how business is done, just pay whatever the seller wants
When's that figure from? Does it take into account new contracts for Kane, Dele etc? Plus, you'd expect the club to have the lowest since we've taken on by far the most debt with the stadium development - it's how far behind the field we're maintaining. We literally have the lowest wage to turnover ratio in the premiership. There’s also some really dodgy “NDombele sister’s classmate” type “ITK” making the rounds too. This thing needs to end ffs.
The most interesting snippet of info I’ve seen on here for a while. Thanks. We literally have the lowest wage to turnover ratio in the premiership. To put in perspective, we are 5% below the minimum percentage to be paid under the NBA salary cap. The MINIMUM.
That's mostly due to the, frankly absurd, increase in our turnover over the last few years. We literally have the lowest wage to turnover ratio in the premiership. To put in perspective, we are 5% below the minimum percentage to be paid under the NBA salary cap. The MINIMUM.

It's really bizarre to me that the sequence of events has been spelt out by their owner and yet people are still being fragile about it, at least wait for that checkpoint to pass.
Past experience pal, past experience.
I appreciate that but when the chairman of the rival club literally says they need to get somebody in before selling the player we want, it's then reported they have agreed a deal for a midfielder who will have a medical on Monday, it's plain fucking stupid to throw the teddys out the pram before that moment is reached.

Not sure why there was so much disagreement on this as I am pretty sure we will see that pairing at some point during the season.I'd personally put money on Dier being his partner in a double pivot.
