Linked to Lazio, as well as Atalanta now:

“Lazio, Emerson Palmieri fades: now the last minute idea is Reguilon”

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he is being linked to teams where we have interest in players (SMS at Lazio and Malinovskyi at Atalanta)
I may have missed something but who has said we're interested in SMS?

I won't be surprised if he thinks he's too good for Brighton.

He’s missed that chance now though it seems. Someone will pick him up before the end of the window. If he’s not going to play it’s in his interest to get a move as much as the clubs.

Article mentions that Forest are considering signing Regi on a loan, interesting considering articles from Italy linking him to teams there

Forest in talks over Tottenham’s Reguilon

Nottingham Forest are considering a loan move for out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon.

Talks are believed to have taken place in recent weeks between the clubs and although it is unclear whether the switch will materialise, it remains a possibility as Forest seek cover in the absence of injured new signing Omar Richards, who has suffered a hairline leg fracture.

Reguilon had been a regular for Tottenham since joining from Real Madrid in 2020, making 67 appearances. But Antonio Conte has preferred Ryan Sessegnon in recent times and also added Ivan Perisic to the squad, meaning the Spaniard, who is returning from injury, is no longer in the frame.

It is believed Tottenham would want Reguilon’s salary covered in full and, according to sources in north London, he will be back to match fitness soon

(Also lol at Mendes up to his tricks)

I’m sure I read that Regi turned down a move to Brighton. If that’s the case then I see no appeal for him in a move to Forest. Brighton are a far better team in a far nicer part of England (no offence to anyone in the midlands but West Sussex is beautiful)

Forest may be willing to pay more than Brighton though

It’s East Sussex, however they do train in West Sussex! If I get my binoculars out I can see the training ground :ROFLMAO: but yes nice part of the country to live in

Market is fluid though, he wouldn't be the first player to turn a club down, only to realise he isn't that popular and end up in a worse place when desperation sets in around the deadline.

Do it. Increase his stock and hopefully he can make the Spain squad, have a stellar tournament and someone can make a bid in January or the summer.

I feel between Peresic and Sess there’s no place for Regi…especially with Udogi next season.
I think he mostly did well here, without setting world on fire. He’s better than Forest though! Surely a CL team in Spain or Italy would take him!!

Forest must be offering absurd wages to have signed so many players, so can see it being a last-chance-saloon option for Regi as the window nears a close. He'd have been back in Spain months ago if any clubs over there had a pot to piss in.
