Wish refs would book players for simulation a lot more. That one where Richarlison nudges the Brentford player at a free kick was embarrassing. They even said var are checking it and then said it wasn't violent conduct. No shit, he threw himself down to try and get Richarlison in trouble.

I thought Richarlison's first goal should have counted too, as that was a blatant dive under pressure by Collins.

The difference for me last night was he was stronger in holding off his marker, instead of looking to go down for the free kick at every opportunity. It allows us to keep moving the ball quickly instead of taking a free kick against an organised defence. I was impressed with Richarlison last night.
It must take some getting used too playing in an attacking side rather than a counter one. He's probably used to looking to win fouls and take pressure off. Even under Conte when he arrived.

Better than Harry Kane don’t @ me

Seriously, though, he’s been fantastic recently and I think there’s still more to come given I don’t think the service to him still has been especially great overall.

He is coming on leaps and bounds and his commitment and obvious love for Spurs is there to see. If he could add dropping deep occasionally and improving hold up play a little he'd be better -

He was a joy to watch last night. How he could still stand after the amount of running he did is a mystery to me.

There was one point before min 70 where we had a corner and he was absolutely blowing, hands on knees. A few minutes later he's sprinting back to help the midfield, then a few seconds later he's sprinting (from the halfway line) to close down their keeper who had a received a long back pass. He's a warrior.

Just watching full game and cannot see where the foul is, as you say Collins just went down under pressure but there was no real apparent contact. Just previously at a Brentford free kick , Collins had gone down claiming an elbow in the stomach from Richy.
There is just blatant gamesmanship from Brentford in the match especially after they had scored the first.

I just recall Ange trying to coach this out of Kane in pre-season - wanting him to stay higher, lead the line, and occupy the CBs - thus giving more space for the wings and Maddison to operate.

From where I was sitting my immediate thought was "that's a foul" and the guy next to me agreed but I couldn't tell you why i thought that.

For anybody with full match replay on spursplay the incident is in slow motion 42 mins in, from the side angle contact is minimal maybe from the refs viewpoint it's more apparent. The only contact I can see Richy's right knee brushes Collins ankle.

I do wonder how much fun Lamela would have had with these lads

Richy you bloody legend 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 can see why Everton fans fell in love with him.

He also seems to be sulking and fall over less and maturing and playing more happy after his operation and after speaking to a therapist and cutting out bad influence people.

Good on ya Richy lad.

Also love how after he’s wound Maupay up he’s then handed the reins to madhouse Romero 🤣

The thing is Lamela was brilliant at switching it on and off. That is why it was effective.

He would play up a situation and then get on with the game as if nothing happened.

I think we are doing the opposite, we are reacting
