I’m pretty sure Richarlison is involved in a conspiracy with my work FPL league to make sure I’m bottom placed on monday morning

Not gonna lie, the only reason I'm awake right now is on my 14th review of starters for the fantasy PL...kane in, Richy out, vice versa.. only thing I know is that I still don't know whether to start Richy or Kane.

I hate everything about spurs...

Fuck it Perisic starting it is!

👀 Pretty sure you don't want to start Kane at this point...

Yep, baffled to hear Gold say he played well. So much perception of Sonny is based on reputation
rather than what's in front of people's eyes.
Son has been fine preseason. A bit rusty with his final ball but that will come with match practice and confidence.

I watched the games after seeing comments on here and really couldn't understand the reaction he got.

The games I watched he looked the lesser player to Solomon. He also looks like he's lacking pace and the ability to take a man on.

It could be rustiness or a continuation of last season

A lot of people on here had the same opinion as you, but that isn't what I saw in all honesty.

Against Shakhtar, I thought Son linked play very well with Maddison, Kane and Udogie and he put in some crosses, some running down the outside and some on his right foot on the inside, that weren't quite there but not far off (slightly too high, slightly to far in front of slightly behind the attacker).

I also think that he got in some good positions, where he would usually shoot but he played the pass instead, which I don't think a match fit, confident Son does.

I've been impressed with Solomon, but feel he has been overrated on here due to the fact he is a good dribbler and quick, but quite a few times he has dribbled into trouble and played it back and we have kept possession but lost momentum. Don't get me wrong, he has done some good stuff too but certainly wouldn't say that Son has looked a lesser player.

I believe he's a good player, but in a year at the club he's been injured or offside. The club won't sell him, so he has another year here at least, but given the circumstances he's got an almighty job ahead of him to show he's the striker we need right now.

Well I think we can say that we all hope he finds his old form after a season without it and at 31.

C’mon. They guy has hardly been given a chance yet the majority of posts here deem him not good enough.

That's because people watched him before he played for Spurs. He's never been a prolific goalscorer. I don't see how that's suddenly going to change at 26

I honestly think if he could stay fit he’d score 15-20 in this system.
BUT he just can’t stay fit, has been such a waste of money.

Sorry was more picking at those clambering over Richy being the ready made replacement for Kane.

To be fair Son needs to find his form again hasn't been great in preseason which is equally worrying.
Yeah, I think he's unsuited to the WF position in this system. He's a much much better fit for the CF role.

When Kane was injured its what Poch did, and he did it because he knew he could be lethal there. Creates space by forcing the opposition to drop back too.

He's always been better at shooting from range and that isn't a fit for Ange's system. Personally think he will fall away this year.

Yeah, that's the positions that we've put him in. I just don't think that in attack Ange will be asking for all that different from Poch. We'll either break quickly with high risk forward passes, or slipping people through the lines. Or we'll need to break down a low block, which many teams like city and arsenal now do by forcing the entire opposition into their own 18y box and then shooting from the D.

Most of preseason has been cut backs from the by line that's not his strength at all.
Also can't remember him scoring a headed goal.

Richarleson? Scored a header in pre season as part of his hatrick.

Would need to go back to when at Everton to see if he has scored more though.
