Interesting. This is taking a shot at that Gaston Edul chap who by all accounts is basically as good as it gets, tier-wise, for Argentinian players. Him randomly mentioning Richy as well did strike me as being a bit odd, looks like he was reaching a bit (unless we've heard similar dismissals from Cuti in which case the journo's a dick).

Glad he's come out with that statement. The journo will now have to explain himself or lose credibility and look an absolute tool.

You think the journalist cares about explaining himself? Probably won't even acknowledge it.
Journos can't help themselves when someone famous acknowledges their existence. They either cower or are oleaginous to a cringe level. And when that person has 22 million followers on Instagram I imagine his online life will be difficult until he addresses it.

I don't doubt Richy was one of the people that contributed to Conte going. His public outburst deliberate or not would have tipped the scales.

He has a lot to prove between now and the end of the season. First he needs to show he can play more than a game without getting injured and second we need to see goals and assists.

Poor signing so far , he had a poor injury record before we signed him aswell

Find it bizarre that there has seemingly been no mention of his injury since it happened. I'd assume that's good news...

You think that’s bizarre, there’s been player out in the women’s team since September and there hasn’t been one mention of her since 😅

turning into a disaster of a signing still not scored a league goal - and the miss yesterday was appalling free header in the five yard box

I don't dislike his attitude but he has had a terrible season

curlacious

Don’t look at me. I’m irrelevant.

He's had injuries and the world cup and little cameo roles with no opportunity to get into a rhythm. With a few little changes of luck he'd have a few goals (one WAS a goal to be fair, just line-drawing stupidity). He's clearly a quality player.

You can excuse his season as a whole due to injuries making it a stop start plus not getting a chance over players in poor form BUT when he gets the chance he has to score those chances like yesterday.

Id currently have Danjuma ahead of him now.

When you look at Alexander Isak who was available with a release fee for similar money and the huge disparity in performances between the two, it certainly is looking like a poor signing. Particularly considering the calf problems that have dogged his career. Although we can only judge him properly when Kane leaves and he plays up front consistently, Isak genuinely can play up front and deeper with a creativity that Richarlison doesn't have.
