Loved his energy once again. Always looking for space and trying to feed colleagues. Just wonder if his finishing is really good enough ?

I’m slightly concerned as his touch is really poor, passing isn’t great and movement hasn’t been too good so far.

Works very hard and presses well but was hoping for a lot more quality on the ball and more goal threat.

Still early days but as I said, slightly concerned at this stage.

I have a strange feeling that he has been wrongly coached in his previous clubs. He is capable of giving the killer pass (like what he did the Deki yesterday) and doing many great things that can't be taught (e.g. his headers). When he understands his tactical role, he would be phenomenal (just like why he is the Brazil No.9). If you don't understand what you need to do in your tactical role, then you will waste your talents in a mistaken way. And Conte has no time to install this to him due to the busy schedule.

His general shithousery can produce tho . That goal where Davies (commentator said Lenglet) crashes into the keeper
was really caused by Richarlson crashing into Davies who then knocked the keeper over.

I agree with the concerns here over his effectiveness tho.

He played well at Everton, but has produced nothing of that sort with us so far.

So which club is coaching him wrongly?

Like a lot of players he just needs time to settle into his new club.
Not to mention he was played out of position/came on as a sub in nearly every appearance pre-injury, and has only made 2 appearances since his injury.

As usual our fans are waaayyy too quick to voice concerns about problems which might not even exist.

Er... this is just the type of player he is, always has been. He's a disruptive forward player who puts the miles in for sure, but he's never been a player of particularly high quality or prolific goalscoring. I'll get pelters but I'm probably the only person on this forum who never rated him and am still baffled by his signing.

Im starting to worry we’ve wasted another £60m , was this guy really the best we could have brought with that money . I’m trying to work out what he brings to the team cos I’m sure Troy parrot could bring plenty of energy and press . Great cross to Harry against forest , 2 headers against Marseille and struggling for anything else .

I'm concerned I won't lie. Yes shithousery and workrate is all good but that's some fee for us. He has shown glimpses though so it's no more than that.

His offsides are a very annoying part of his game that needs to be coached out of him immediately.

Much better off the left than the right but I don't think he has enough quality on the ball to play that role regularly. As has been said, his main quality in that position is his aggression which can create chances but mainly I see him as an option to rest Kane and play as a 9. I'm not sure if people who don't think he's adapted to our system saw much of him at Everton but he doesn't have that much more to his game. I always thought it was an odd use of £65 million and still do. You'd expect someone either world class in their position or excellent in 2-3 roles for that.

I was concerned for him to play on Saturday as I was worried he may do his calf again.

Apparently I was more concerned than he was the way he was chucking himself about.

He was upset to be taken off as well.

Richy like Hojbjerg, Bentancaur etc is a player you want on your side in the trenches.

I like him. I just really want him to find his groove, for me it feels like once that happens we will really see him fly but I seen false dawns before. At the minimum he puts the effort in and seems to win the ball further up the pitch, it's something we have missed as Son isn't the strongest in that regard.

It's been tricky for him so far because he hasn't had a proper run in his favored position on the left and has mostly been played on his weaker side, this coupled with his injury has left us all wondering what sort of player we have. I really like him though, he is very hard working and probably a total pain to play against - he is a very strong squad player and can cover three positions reasonably well so I think he is certainly worth the money we paid for him and he will only get better.

I think people look at him and compare him to Jesus as Arsenal got him for around the same amount of cash but although they play similar positions they are very different players.

Stop start season so far but I'm still happy we have him, allows us an option from the bench to cover for the front 3. Think he will have a good second half of the season.
