I think he will bring some intensity to our attack. Kane today looked a little leggy. The forward line only picked up when Richie came on.

Superb option off the bench. Fantastic piece of business in the summer. (Same for Perisic).

Delighted with a point. Dissapointed with the performance. However, progress has been made from last year. Trying to remain positive.

Made a big difference when he came on. Probably won’t score loads of goals or get loads of assists but his work rate, movement and link up play will all help us win points.

Great to finally have quality depth like him in our squad.
Erm I would hope he would given that we spent £60m on the fella

Not just a superb option off the bench - I think he’ll push Son and Harry this year, maybe Deki depending on the formation.

There are times - yesterday being a good example - when we need a bit more grit. I think he brings some well needed physicality and presence to our attack.

Might take time to find his scoring boots, but I think he’s a valuable complement to our other attackers.

Definitely. He had more of an influence on the game yesterday than Son or Kulusevski. This is why I couldn’t understand the sentiments from many fans on here about him being an unnecessary signing. Neither Kulusevski or Son are so consistently good that they are undroppable. We need options as yesterday showed.

Agree, mate.

The thing with him is that he is tireless. He does not stop. He won't be affected by a bad miss, he ploughs on.

Think he gives us another dimension and he'll pop up with some really crucial goals.
He also constantly moves to show for the ball, something our forward line didn’t do, and when they did it was too easy to stop. We had so little movement it was awful

His effect on the team yesterday when he came on reminded me of what it was like when Lamela would come on against some European farmers and the intensity would go up a few levels even though we were 4 nil up.

He made a huge difference yesterday to the team and I think he's going to bring a lot more than just an extra body up front. He'd have scored if Kane didn't.

I’d start him on Saturday. I think he deserves a chance and rotating to keep players fresh isn’t a bad idea.

Not taking away from his cameo performance yesterday, but I think our upturn in form was mainly due to the change in formation / system, rather than his introduction. He definitely lifted our tempo though.

He managed to change the game but I think it was the timing as well, Chelsea were struggling to maintain the high intensity they were applying, he came on and stretched that midfield. I was impressed at how he kept dropping, taking the ball and moving the forward play on.

Would love to see him start against Wolves but its very difficult to get him in the team with the front 3 as good as they are, ok Son and Kane not had the best starts to the season but I don't see Conte dropping either.

He is a pain in the ass for opposing defenders and midfielders. He is busy, gets everywhere and has pace. Just what was required yesterday. He's going to be a hit at this club.

It would mean Son or Kulu have to sit. Don't see that yet. Rotation will be needed once we play twice a week. Only change I would make is Perisic for Sess and maybe Lucas/Doherty for Emerson.

I disagree, I think his work rate and enthusiasm were infectious. He upped our tempo like you said, and I think that was a game changer for us.
